this is probably my favorite

His talent level is simply ridiculous. 6'10, can jump out of the building, good handles, guard like quickness, extremely silky stroke with a release that is not only high but quick. Whether he's a 3rd option or MVP candidate in 7 years will come down to his intangibles and how those develop. He's already bringing a pretty damn good toolbox of skills to the table (as the chart shows), so it's just a matter of putting it all together on a consistent basis. Defense too of course still a work in progress, but he's not the sieve he was at times as a rookie so it's of little concern to me, as the poor D was simply inexperience.

how many know how to run to the basket down 1 with 4 seconds left on a 3-1 break

lol. honestly he probably did what he was coached to do on fast breaks. that was kind of the turning point in the season - nuggets have the best record in the NBA since then, I believe

I thought MPJs Offensive progression had stopped at pump faking the 3 and getting wide open drives/pull ups, which was awesome enough. Last game, he started throwing perfectly timed dimes after the pump fake and drive to the hoop which gifted us dunks.

If he can consistently make the right decision even 50% of the time, he's going to be a ridiculous Offensive player.

He's definitely got better defensively from an effort and body control perspective; that said, he still makes some mind numbing decisions (Malone got into him bigggggg time in that Golden State game).

Bagley could be Julius Randle if he could ever stay healthy but it is apparent at this point that will be a battle for the rest of his career and losing so much development already is crippling to a guy like that.

Randle has benefitted massively from development, but he has at least always TRIED to play in space and distribute. He was just a turnover machine and couldn't shoot for ****.

Bagley has never demonstrated even the faintest ability to create for others. Same thing with Bamba. Even if they occasionally hit a three at the top of the key they'll be useless. Even guys like Capela and Rudy have really high basketball IQ and get the most out of their limited skill sets on offense. Bagley's caught in the middle.

Bron itching to come back lol.... this dude ran out his seat to go catch a full court shot Morris launched after the buzzer, then started dribbling it a bit under the basket after the quarter was over before firing the ball across the court back to the ref. That dude is dying to be back. He doesn't know what its like to go this long without playing. Doesn't hurt that the playoffs are right around the corner.

Suns play the Clippers and Jazz next two gms. Think they are 1 gm back of Utah and 1 gm ahead of LAC.

Might be big since LAL might fall to 6. And we get LA/LA in R1, which would be crazy.

Only really care about the 1 seed so they get a team who has to play 2 playoff gms before R1. And the 1 seed prob gets 5ish day rest.

Utah needs to beat Sacramento tonight and pray that Phoenix loses to the Clippers.
