That Lebron MVP is slipping away. Luckily for him, nobody seems to want to grab it.

Its not that nobody want to grab it. Its that people dont want to acknowledge others like they do LeBron. If someone mentions Embiid and Kawhi you will have alot say they missed games. People are quick to dismiss Harden and I honestly dont understand why. He has been the only constant for Brooklyn with KD and Kyrie being in and out of the lineup. He lead the NBA in assist, he is really helping his players around him literally have career years shooting. Not to mention he is getting his own production. He has like 22 double doubles and 6 triple doubles. Oh and the one thing we are criticizing about LeBron not being able to carry the Lakers without AD and Shroder literally getting blown out twice without them and now on a 4 game losing streak. Harden single handedly led the largest franchise comeback against the Suns down by 24pts to win. He did that without KD and Kyrie. We arent seeing LeBron do that against really any team let alone really good teams. And speaking of good teams, LeBron with AD and without him have a losing record against good teams. I think they are now like (4-9) against teams above .500. The Nets have only lost 3 times to teams above .500 and digging deeper has only lost 1 time against teams with a top 4 seed in each conference.

Right now and the key words are "right now" my top 3 MVP is Harden, Embiid, and LeBron. LeBron being on the down trend and on his tails is Kawhi and Jokic.

Embiid and Jokic sure playing like they do, can’t say same for rest of their teammates.

Giannis too but voter fatigue is real. He's just doing a casual 28.6/11.8/6.0/1.3/1.3 in 34 minutes right now.

EDIT - Since that brutal 1-10 FT night, he's actually been absurd...

29.9/12.9/6.5/1.4/1.4 on 57.0/25.7/70.7 in 35 minutes

The Mavs are laughably bad. The organization is a joke. All those 50+ win years from around 03-11? Thanks Dirk. And thanks for the ONE YEAR Mark Cuban did something by getting Tyson Chandler (and the Kidd trade/signing Marion 2 years prior).

Since 2011 they have been among the worst organizations in the league, constantly surrounding Dirk and Luka with the bottom of the barrel crap. They hit on one ******* guy in between - Monta Ellis and I guess 50 year old Vince.

But this roster is an absolute joke. It’s Luka and a bunch of trash.

Embiid has shot the ball TERRIBLY the last three games. Was playing unreal before this latest stretch though.

Wish the Nuggets would start winning more games and Jokic could win it.

But it is definitely up for grabs. Harden should get more love but he's pretty much disqualified after what happened in Houston.

Kawhi is the sleeper candidate that no one is talking about but should.

Why would harden be disqualified from what happened in Houston? Seems like he’s getting a lot of widespread praise for his unselfishness.

The question is SHOULD he? And no, he should be right in the thick of the MVP race but he won't be. Voters aren't going to let go of how he acted in Houston and how he essentially quit on the team.

He IS getting praise for how he's playing but name a voter or list that has him in the top 2 or 3? You only see LeBron/Embiid/Jokic in the top 3s of almost every list.
