JBURGE
Some really exciting news before we go into the Patriots game. The Falcons have signed James Randall to a 5 year extension 2025 RE-SIGNINGS CAP SPACE NAME OVR AGE PLAYER DEMANDS TEAM OFFER RESULT YRS TOTAL AAV YRS TOTAL AAV FS JAMES RANDALL 83 24 5 $31,600,000 $6,320,000 5 $32,800,000 $6,560,000 RE-SIGNED CB TAYLOR FRIEDMAN 89 24 5 $73,100,000 $14,620,000 5 $74,000,000 $14,800,000 NEGOTIATING Randall's deal is super reasonable for a 24 year old SuperStar. I had to give it. This is going to be a tough one for Friedman. I gave a little more than his ask. I think I have to pay him considering I won't have an expensive WR for 4 years. But I have both LBs up next year, and I have to imagine those will both be mega deals. I probably choose between one of Friedman or one of the LBs. I think I need to keep a #1 corner. Neumatic
Pay the man. Linebackers are easier to find than Corners at least in last years game.

We have a bye week 9 which works. I did re-sign Friedman, but damn he expensive. Also signed Joe Matthews for 2 years so his cap hit comes off. This way I will only lose my C this off-season, RG next off-season, and then Matthews the one after that. Will give me time to replace them. Hawkins is my OLB3, he is just there for injury insurance. This also means I don't have to attack that position in the draft. Cheap deal again for the same reasons as above, I can afford it the next 2 years. This is pretty unbelievable, but halfway through the season, the Falcons are 8-0. 7 simmed games and 1 super-simmed. Mid Season Notable Stats Oliver McGee has 2571 yards, 20 TDs and 8 INTs HB Marcus Jennings has 596 yards on 4.6 ypc, 6 TDs HB Oakman has 229 yards and 3 TDs WR Tramon Matlock has 693 and 7 TDs WR Wheeler has 617 and 5. As a rookie this is amazing for his chances at OROY The Sherriff has 2.5 sacks and Mays 3.5. That is so damn weak Friedman with 3 picks, 2 in the game I streamed vs the Pats. There isn't a way to check the OVR of the other teams except when I play them, so it seems a little unbelievable that my team (an 84 or 85 now mid season) is the clear best team in the league. But this is also a window year before some guys are gone. I should be even better next year before I lose one of the MLBs, and maybe the other EDGE rusher. Childs will be gone after this year - with his drop back to a Star I am not going to pay him $7m a year. That money went to James Randall. Picking later in rounds now will hopefully help the cost of the draft picks too.

JBURGE
2025 Playoffs This is year 5 total, and 2nd year in the playoffs. Best record in the NFL by 2 games. Can't wait get smoked in the NFCCG by the Packers in a repeat of 2010. We will have to wait until Super Bowl week to see if we get any upgrades... hopefully we're still playing then. I expect that McGee is the favourite for MVP and likely a couple more awards, but I am hoping Wheeler can win OROY with no serious QBs in the NFC, and that rookie safety Clinton has a chance to get to star considering he failed his upgrade chance early in the year. Keep in mind the morale boost to the OVR. Our best player is McGee at 94, Friedman at 92, and The Sherriff at 90. JBURGE
This team is crazy. On their first drive the Falcons fake a FG and run it for 5 yards for a 1st down and score a couple plays later. 7-0 after 1 quarter.
