INbengalfan
Nice effort, but you lost me in the first. You traded back 10 spots, passed on both Sewell and Chase, to take Pitts and gain a 3rd and 6th for it? hard NO from me. Then you waited to finally address OL in the fourth? Again, nope from me. I am assuming then that you did some kind of sign and trade for Thuney, but still wait until the fourth for the other OT? Maybe you grabbed Moton as a free agent, but we won't win a bidding war for him, and i think Carolina keeps him anyway

Ozzy
What is this based on a simulation and pre made rankings by someone else? Jackson Carman in the 4th round, how does that happen? Not to mention Shaun Wade and Andre Cisco in the 4th round? Kary Vincent Jr might be drafted but will be close, his versatility helps him. Javonte Williams in the 4th round in insane to me, no way he makes it out of the 2nd round. Tyree Gillespie I do not have being drafted. St-Juste might be picked but doubt it is in the 5th round. Payton Turner I like but again risky for him to go in the 5th, but physically he is well built. Tedarrell Slaton I do not have being drafted. LaBryan Ryan is not going out for this draft as far as I know and is back at Bama. Ventrell Miller is back at Florida I believe. Robert Rochell I do not have being drafted. LeCounte in the 6th round is absolutely insane to me as well, he is a much better player than that. Landon Young on UK I do not have being drafted. Tarik Black drafted? I doubt that one, Ben Mason maybe but even that not sure many teams really need a FB so bad they draft one but he is a tough player. Paris Ford in the 6th round, how does that happen? Peyton Ramsey to me is a UDFA not a drafted QB. Same with Tuf Borland and Trill Williams as UDFA guys. Doubt Costello is drafted but will see. Master Teague is back at Ohio State also. Nick Eubanks? No freaking way he is drafted after a pretty suspect career overall. Also no way Elerson Smith lasts to the 7th round he is gone by the 3rd or 4th at worst. Jalen Camp is good but not sure he is drafted and same with Carlo Kemp. Chris Evans, yeah would be shocked if he is drafted. And KJ Britt in the 7th round? What the hell he was arguably the best LB in the game at the senior bowl and he last till the 7th round as a great athlete, no way that is the biggest issue arguably. Not to mention all the guys not included in this which I will not go over.

I liked Mustafa when I scouted him last year. But our DT depth is pretty solid as is with Jones, Nnadi, Wharton, and Saunders. 1 hour ago, Johnny Nix said: Ta'Quon Graham DT Texas Hate it. For DL we need DE, not DT. Overall, I wouldn't be very happy with this. Our main needs are OL, WR, and LB. Double dipping at OL and WR is encouraged by me. But the LB depth of this class isn't that great imo.
m haynes
Pats trade for Tray Lance. The bust of the draft. This years Jordan Love. He great going against 9 to 5 future workers! Throw bombs or run. He shows zero NFL skills (above the shoulders) needed to play QB, You see him look for a secondary receiver it will be the 1st time. Also you have traded away 2021 draft for a team that has multiple positions to fill. Needs QB,WR,CB,S,OL,DL and RB. Compare two small school QBs. Wilson and Lance. Wilson show everything needed at the next level. Lance show he the next Daunte Culpepper without Moss and Carter ! No thanks

Not to mention all the guys not included in this which I will not go over. I used the PFN simulator, so entirely possible they hadn’t updated who stayed and went out for the draft. I’m sure I will be doing another one in the upcoming months, so hopefully it gets updated. These simulators cut out the time it takes to do these by a lot. As far as some of the players you mentioned falling, I think I need to go back and review them, but at the same time players fall all the time. But I still would get an OT sooner. And if we pass over Chase (or picked at 5) why not go after Marshall in the second. Large catch radius. Two solid outside guys with Boyd in the slot. True those do save a ton of time but the fools that actually do it by yourself and ones own rankings, it is a slap in the face kind of ;o) And those simulations have guys dropping that should never drop and it is all based on the original rankings they have in place already. But this year is nuts with RS SR or Seniors able to return to school, very hard to track who declared as an underclassman or not. Now I see Miller on Florida maybe is going out for the draft as a RS JR but should have then been an underclassman that declared right? I am wrong constantly but find it a little more interesting if I call it instead of just being told here is the list of guys that are already ranked with team needs shown as well. KJ Britt is not a 7th round pick I will tell you that much. Yeah I see here they have Britt ranked the 243 player in the draft, horse**** on that one, dude killed it at the senior bowl and is a big time athlete. Why they have Chris Evans 238 overall is crazy to me when I question how much he even enjoys or likes the game of football. Ben Mason at 219 is pretty nuts to me, unless you are the Ravens but they already got their FB or HB type in Richard who is 300 pounds. Ray I see is ranked with them and yeah is not in the draft. Miller I guess might be in the 2021 draft where I saw something but again not sure why he was not considered a underclassman then.

Yeah honestly this is the time of year when I really start learning about prospects and positional rankings. I would say I have a good handle on the top part of the draft, it’s rounds 4-7 that I still have to learn more about. So honestly this feedback really helps so I can go back and review. I don’t stick to these boards rankings by any means, and sometimes I’m so deep in that it sucks to start over when you see a guy that’s low on their list that you didn’t see. I will probably end up doing my own version aside from the simulator so that doesn’t mess me up. I’ve had to start over so many times. Lol. Yeah getting just the picks right in the correct order is hard not to mention know which guys are in the draft and which guys are returning to school because of the added year this season. I have already started my list for 2022 draft and did the same for the 2021 draft but a ton of those guys are taken off when I add new ones on as they come up. Without the combine is huge though, I never was able to watch the combine live until last year and the amount of information one could get just by watching the same group of guys all in the same position compete right by each other one after another. Was pretty easy to tell which ones moved well and which ones struggle and who stands out. Not being able to do that this year could be a massive issue, not being able to compare guys side by side like that much less get all the 40 time data next to each other in a spreadsheet type format to see who is the fastest or strongest at their position.

Exactly. My knowledge of a lot of these prospects has been completely messed up this year. This could be the year that is just so upside down because every teams draft board is going to extremely different aside from the top prospects IMO. Tetsujin
I like the trade. It's hard to see Miami going OT in the first round with the investments made early in the 2020 draft. Miami's TE room is full with 3 guys they like.
Jdolphins18
One of the best dolphins draft I’ve seen although I would rather see a LB picked where Richie Grant is picked and then get Hufanga where the TE is picked. But love the trade, love the Harris, Devonta Smith, and Patrick Jones picks. Darrisaw could play either tackle spot which would move Robert Hunt to guard where he might be his best, even though he played very well at tackle last year.
