ColtV
Per Adam Schefter: Philadelphia has agreed to trade Carson Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for a 2021 third-round pick and a conditional 2022 second-round pick that could turn into a first, league sources tell @mortreport and me. Wyld Stallyns
If Wentz can be turned around in Indy, this is a steal. If Wentz fails, I’m ok with the lost compensation. Still have our 1st and 2nd for LT and DE
rich homie
Wow. I had resigned myself to giving up our first or something. This is actually a decent deal.
ACO
More like a 3rd and a 1st...
coffeedrinker
Oh man, beat me to it. IMO, that is to high a price for Wentz... a 3rd rounder would have been fine. I'm guessing Eason will be starting by week 8 because of injury or incompetents.
PFM18
I think if anyone can turn around Wentz, it's Frank Reich. If he does turn him around, we have our franchise QB for the next few years. Worth a shot IMO.

This is a major win/lose for both sides. I don't think there's any way both teams look at this years ago and say "good deal".

Warhorse
Hell ya....the way folks are throwing stupid money at QB's.... If he works, he's worth next years first. If he fails, it was worth gambling this years 3rd...

Yes, if he works out it was a reasonable trade, if he doesn't then it's this years 3rd and next years 2nd. His best season was when Reitz was the OC, so I'm holding out hope. But I'm not a fan of Wentz.

Well that wouldn't be terrible because if he's taking that many snaps then he's playing well and, obviously, staying healthy.
Kiltman
A fair deal all things considered. Good luck with him guys.
coffeedrinker
Now, if the Colts could entice JJ Watt to come to Indy. There is the injury history with him but he is one of the few players where it's worth the risk. A front line of Watt, Buckner and Stewart would be the fear of offenses throughout the league.
