Deng is not in this draft, he returned to Cal.

https://www.si.com/college/cal/news/deng-to-return-to-cal

Other than that I think all those dudes are in.

I do not get the Nick Eubanks love, where is this coming from?  Dude was nothing great this season on Michigan and his overall career has been a disappointment.  Turner I like at DE but not sure he is worth a 3rd round selection.  Good size and upside but that is a little high for him.  Same with Nico where there are better receivers than him there.

St-Juste sure had a good senior bowl played decent but this season he disappointed.  Got beat more than the year previous and was not as good tackling either and did get hurt as well and missed some time.  Maybe that is why he played poorly but a 3rd round pick?  Not sure I see that, yeah if he times out great but that is a reach.  He gets drafted which could happen but his teammates Olson and Schlueter do not?  Not sure that happens, I believe both Olson and Schlueter are in this draft and did not return to Minnesota.

Hutcherson not getting the move for him but who knows.  And didn't Mills get beat on in the senior bowl?  Not sure he is a drafted Cb but will see.  Bohanna I barely noticed on Kentucky honestly so not sure he is a drafted guy.  And Jonathan Adams will be long gone before the near bottom 7th round I feel.  The dude has big time ability and ball skills.

Ford, Sample and Twyman I would like for the Vikings but not sure Twyman would be around but to get both he and Sample would be a steal.  D'Ante Smith not sure is a scheme fit, and if they do take him who is the starting OG which is their biggest need?  Cleveland is ok but not sure he is a scheme fit either and he is no better than Samia was as a prospect, tough physical run blocking and Samia was awful for the Vikings last year because he lacked athletic ability in that system.  Then again Remmers was awful for Minnesota and looked decent for KC this past season.

Will be interesting when the comp picks come out, sure it could change a lot of things.

I kind of like the Steelers draft. It’s realistic and wouldn’t upset me. There is one big thing, though. My thoughts on the draft are entirely predicated on the Steelers signing a starting center, and probably re-signing Matt Feiler as depth. There is no way the team can go into a season with such little depth on the interior offensive line.

 3 95. James Hudson [ OT ] Cincinnati
 4 127. Jamin Davis [ LB ] Kentucky
 5 159. Bobby Brown III [ IDL ] Texas A&M
7 223. Jonathan Adams Jr. [ WR ] Arkansas State

I'd love for AVT to fall to us. Best pick out of the bunch. I also like Hudson in the 3rd. The rest I either need to research more or am not as high on for being a good fit with what we do.

You hit positions of need, except IDL. Our top 4 DT are pretty solid and set even before free agency. Any addition there should be a cheap FA or undrafted rookie. I'd much rather go BPA DE, S, CB, or RB at 159 in this scenario.

 1 22. Jayson Oweh [ EDGE ] Penn State

 2 53. Jay Tufele [ IDL ] USC

 3 86. Paulson Adebo [ CB ] Stanford

 4 117. Seth Williams [ WR ] Auburn

 5 150. Tommy Kraemer [ IOL ] Notre Dame

 6 161. Joshua Kaindoh [ EDGE ] Florida State

 6 191. Cary Angeline [ TE ] NC State

Good draft and great effort!

1. Oweh is a good pick. It all depends if you feel like you can develop him or not. I personally like Ossai and philips more but I can't complain.

2. Tufele is a great pick

3. This is my biggest complaint. I don't like Adebo outside of a zone scheme and Titans like to have both zone and man elements (it's the main reason we did resign Logan Ryan). One player at that spot that would be a good fit there is James Hudson. Perfect scheme fit and doesn't need to start right away.

4. Works for me.

5. Ok fit. I wouldn't hate it. If changing the 3rd pick to a IOL. Then make this one Kary vincent jr

Both the 6th round pics are good for me

4. Atlanta  - Trey Lance [ QB ] North Dakota State
5. Cincinnati  - Penei Sewell [ OT ] Oregon

This right here alone would get an F from me on this draft we pass on the 2nd best player in the draft and take a QB i wouldn't touch in the top 15 to 20 picks.  I would take atleast 4 QB's right now over Lance in  Lawrence, Fields, Wilson, Mac, and possibly a 5th in Trask although him and Lance are close as neither thrill me.

Ojulari is a solid pick no complaints there

Mcgrone isn't really a good pick as we don't need a non edge rushing LB as we are pretty good there already.  Ojulari was already grabbed as our rush Lb earlier.

Tremble again not really a good pick as we got many more major needs than TE and shouldn't be looking this early at one with better players for us available.

Washington is a pretty good pick at Safety as lord we need one and probably 2 or 3 of them between FA and the draft.  We only have 1 on the roster right now and it was a 5th round pick from last year.   So as of right now we have a 1 yr 5th rounder starter and a rookie 5th round starter leading the charge with this pick.

Hill at RB is a ok pickup but we should have addressed RB much sooner with a much better player than waiting this long for it.

Overall i give this draft a C- to a F  i don't really like it at all for the Falcons it doesn't help us much and gives us players i don't feel are that good for what we need.   Now as always i'll look at the players available to us at each pick and build what i would deem as a much better situation for us.

1st - Sewell - OG/OT - Already explained 2nd best player in the draft and hits a need.

2nd - Najee Harris - RB - Best RB in the draft and fits our scheme perfectly.

3rd - Andre Cisco - S - We get a more talented safety much sooner to cover our biggest hole and need on the entire team and we still need 2 more of them after this.

4th - Patrick Jones - Edge - Very talented player with upside i could see him go late round 2 to early round 3.

5th - Ardarius Washington - S - I have no problem with double dipping at Safety and we still need to get 1 more in FA with either Neal coming back or a guy like Simmons or Williams.

6th - Chubba Hubbard - RB - Didn' really want to double dip at RB but the value here was way to much to pass up.  Chubba should go way sooner than this and he would pair greatly with Harris as our new reformed and upgraded backfield.   Harris, Hubbard, and 1 to 2 of  Ito, Hill, or Ollison  and 3 or 4 of those guys would be great for us.  Much rather had a CB here but didn't really see a good one to target.    We should bring back Dernard and Blidi-Wreh  if possible they did well for us.  I can live with our CB's 1 more year if we can upgrade our safetys to help them out.

Buffalo

1 30. Nick Bolton [ LB ] Missouri
 2 61. Michael Carter [ RB ] North Carolina
3 94. Hamilcar Rashed Jr. [ EDGE ] Oregon State
 5 145. Robert Hainsey [ OT ] Notre Dame
 5 158. Kary Vincent Jr. [ CB ] LSU
 6 189. Drake Jackson [ IOL ] Kentucky
 7 200. Deommodore Lenoir [ CB ] Oregon

It's a pretty solid haul for Buffalo  I like Bolton as it looks like we are losing Mllano in FA.  I often mock Bolton to us.  Carter is fine, we really need some speed at the RB position.  Rashed, I am not sure where we would play him on our D as I don't think he really fits as a down lineman.  Perhaps if we were shifting our tendencies a bit, but I would prefer Alim Mcneil or Patrick Jones here.  Some good LBs on the board too.   The rest of the draft is solid.  OL and CB depth are needed.  Drake Jackson may not be the best fit but getting an adequate backup center like him in the 6th is good value.  If we do decide to move on from Morse in the future, he can be groomed.

  • Love V-T. OG is a position of depth, but you don't pass a future Pro-Bowler when he falls in your lap.
  • At #2, Quin Meinerz is a possibility, if he is a genuine C,  also Cameron McGrone. The team likes Michigan defenders. Eskridge is another small WR for as team losing size at the position. It is worth noting that they have six WR on futures contracts
  • I am not sure what Hudson gives them. They have Lucas Niang coming off an opt out and picked up Prince Tega Wanogho as a project. If Hudson could step straight into the lineup it would be different. On this board, Tremble makes sense. In addition to the usual studliness, Kelce largely took over the FB position. They need a successor, but also a second receiving threat. Hamsah Nasirildeen, Dayo Odeyingbo, and Baron Browning are all good alternatives.
  • Davis is a nice pick. If you take a LB earlier, this is where they might go with a smaller WR, run support/ST safety, blocking TE, BPA.
  • Brown is coming into a stacked depth chart. They have Nnadi and Saunders for 1-tech, with Jones and Wharton as 3-tech. Consider Stearns. Sorensen will be 31 and he plays ALL the ST. If they have not taken a C, Drake Jackson.

29. Green Bay  - Greg Newsome II [ CB ] Northwestern

Assuming the Packers move on from Kevin King this offseason, CB is probably a top 3 need along with OT and DL.  That being said, I don't think they're going to go with a raw corner like Newsome.  Probably take someone a bit more pro-ready than him.  If he's there in R2, I think he'd be high on the Packers' board but I don't think they'd take him this high.

Really don't see much of a chance they take Moses given his dad situation.  Not to mention, I think the Packers really like Krys Barnes and Kamal Martin moving forward.

As pointed out earlier, Philly has 85 overall. Not crazy about us taking 2 WR with our first two picks (Yes Pitts is a WR lol). I like the two players, but rather us hit CB with 37. Chase at 6 and Samuel Jr or Stokes at 37 would be ideal. We need corners worse than we do receivers. Chase, Fulgham, Reagor, Watkins, Hightower, Ward can do some things.
