Dre’Mont Jones is ready to be a starter and re-signing Shelby for half the price of Casey is a no brainer. He only played three games for us but he’s definitely still a good player. I think they will work out a restructure/extension that gives him more guaranteed money but lowers his average salary to a number that is more commensurate with what a player at his stage (post-peak but still a difference maker) should be worth. 3 years, 42-45 million or something like that.
