Broncos release Jurrell Casey

Lots of good interior DL hitting the market. Malik Jackson is supposed to get cut as well. I hope that means the Giants can either bring back Dalvin Tomlinson at a reduced price, or they can find a suitable replacement.

Wasn't exactly good, outside of like 1 game.

Was an obvious cap casualty like Bouye. Dre’Mont Jones is ready to be a starter and re-signing Shelby for half the price of Casey is a no brainer.

He only played three games for us but he’s definitely still a good player. Just not a difference making pass rusher anymore. He’s still VERY good vs. the run.

Is Von next or do you think he is sticking around?

I think they will work out a restructure/extension that gives him more guaranteed money but lowers his average salary to a number that is more commensurate with what a player at his stage (post-peak but still a difference maker) should be worth. 3 years, 42-45 million or something like that.

He's still good right?

Not what he was, but still a solid player. His strength has always been his quickness (for a guy his size), so age and injuries might start to slow that down, though.
