I respeced to hammerdin at 23, and maybe I should have waited a few more levels cause I'm drinking mana pots nonstop. But I'm owning everything. I got a Nagelring drop from Diablo! MKnight82 Posted September 25, 2021 Author Share Posted September 25, 2021 Since Baal runs aren’t a thing on console I just killed Baal when I got to him. I think I was level 29. Then I did a few normal difficult cow levels runs and built a spirit runeword sword. I’m running nightmare now, damage isn’t really an issue but I’m dying a lot. My brother and I ran from lvl 1 to mid-A5 last night. Up to level 15 with that character going Lightning but will eventually respec into Blizzard. I haven't progressed super far because I took awhile farming runes at NM Countess. Here's where I'm at gear wise: Helm: Rockstopper https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Rockstopper I was going to make a Lore before I found this. Mine gives me +25 cold res, +28 Lig res, +33 fire res, so I'm sticking with it until I get more resistance from other items. Armor: Stealth Runeword https://diablo-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Stealth_(Diablo_II_Rune_Word) Mine's only in a Studded Leather, but I'm sticking with this until I find something better. Weapon: Spirit Runeword https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Spirit_Rune_Word Mine is in a Crystal Sword. If you're struggling for a 4 socket weapon early on do what I did, run Cows on Normal till a Crystal Sword drops then use your Socket Quest in Act 5. Mine only has +30 FCR (You want 35). Shield: Spirit Runeword I put it in a 4 socket Heraldic Shield that dropped in NM Act 4. Unfortunately the shield didn't have any natural +res in it but its the only 4 socket shield I've found so far. Only +29 FCR. Gloves: Rare Demonhide Gloves +3% mana stolen per hit, +26 defense, +7 Lit res, +14% poi res, 15% MF. Not great gloves, basically wearing for the resistances and magic find. Belt: Razortail https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Razortail This unique belt doesn't fit my build at all but I'm using it until I find something better. Boots: Magic Boots I feel like good boots are hard to find. These are +8% poi res and +32% Magic Find. Definitely need to find an upgrade. Amulet: Magic Amulet +7% all res, +27% magic find. For a standard magic amulet this is about as good as it gets. I tried crafting an amulet but it created a +druid skills. I will keep making more amulets when I find more perfect amethysts. Ring: Nagelring https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Nagelring_(Diablo_II) Mine has +24% magic find. Ring: Rare Ring +9 stamina, +24% magic find. Charms: GC - 15% poi res LC - 1-3 lit dmg, 4% lit res GC - +22 life, +5% MF SC - +9% gold SC - 1-4 lit dmg, +4% poi res SC - +9% poi res SC - +3% run/walk, +18 attack rating Mercenary Weapon: Insight runeword https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Insight_Rune_Word I put it in an ethereal 4 socket superior poleaxe. Only level 12 meditation but man does it make a huge difference. Armor: Sparking Mail https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Sparking_Mail_(Diablo_II) Gives him some added lightning damage and lit res.
