Phinsesq
Reportedly a team in interviews asked Devonta Smith if he preferred to play with Mac Jones or Tua and reportedly there was no hesitation that he preferred Jones. While it is BS to put Smith in that position and then leak the answer, I have to think this hurts his stock with Miami. Which may have been the goal. In referencing the Devonta Smith leak, Waddle was asked the same thing on air and answered Jones as well. There was a bit of qualifying language in the answer as they both arrived together and climbed through the ranks together etc. While I do not think Waddle is the target of the 3rd pick, if Miami trades down he could be. I do not take the position that just because both would prefer Jones that it means they are saying Tua is terrible which is the way it is being spun by some, my thought is though if the pick at number 3 is to be Smith, Waddle or Chase. Will these responses move the dial towards Chase as there has been no public "slight" of the current QB. I would think it does, with Tua already under criticism for not putting up Herbert's numbers in his rookie season why would Miami welcome more media distraction. Chase has the talent to justify being picked over Smith.
Rgossett07
I’m guessing Jeudy and Ruggs would say Tua over Hurts...
FinSting
Lots of us wanna see the Fins trade back, gather tons of valuable picks for the future, then take whatever 1st-rd WR is still on the board. This strategy doesn't change, even if a good WR is signed in FA. It's a fun guessing game, these pre-FA times.

I am definitely a fan of trading back though I think the FA moves will help determine where they go with their 1st pick whether it is at 3 or later. Whether they are able to trade back or not Its fun having a bunch of picks. Tons of options with a bit of cap room as well for the FA market. March 9th should be interesting.
