They set the value and stay there Not so sure. It was a past FO that set the value for Mitchell Schwartz. He went out and tested the market, came back, and the team took the offer off of the table. Stop clinging to the mistakes of the past to justify negative takes of the present.

Can't count on him for anything on the field right now so I am starting really to think the Browns might go CB in the 1st round. I think if they can land Clowney and then draft a CB in round 1, their defense is going to look miles better than it was

FGK
Still think we get 1-2 of the "one year, late career" or "prove it deal" type guys to build depth on the DL before the draft. Specifically thinking a guy like Clowney/Engram/Aldon Smith/Griffen/Houston at edge and (a guy can dream on Atkins, but more realistically) somebody like Kawaan Short/John Jenkins/Ronald Blair at DT. None of them would be lock it up starters except for maybe Clowney, but all would make us more nimble and flexible in the draft if something weird happens.

Mary Kay seems convinced that Clowney will be a brown and play on 1st and and 2nd down with Takk coming in on 3rd. Hopefully if it happens glass man stays off of the IR. maybe in obvious pass rush situations bump Clowney inside, but who comes off? Richardson, jackson, or just run an exotic 5/1/5 D with only 1 LB? Clowney isn’t coming out on 3rd down unless he’s hurt or tired.

He’s a hell of a lot better of an option than takk. Clowney is a freak athlete. I want him on the field as much as possible.

Myles clowney takk jackson are probably the best 4
TeHDruiD
With all due respect, Takk has freak athleticism as well https://relativeathleticscores.com/2020/01/22/takkarist-mckinley-ras/ Clowney 40: 4.53, Takk: 4.59 Clowney 10: 1.59, Takk: 1.
