Which is why I want clowney on the edge....

Takk has the speed for clean up sacks coming from myles pressure.

Clowney provides pressure but doesnt finish, I think he would be great opposite myles too. Also he is a beast vs the run, our dline sucks vs the run.

Imo talk is a signing thinking about lamar, clowney would help that too. I'd add kwon Alexander as a player that can be used to help vs the ravens. He has the burst to cut down what lamar will get. Also having 3 safeties and billings will help too. They have a massive oline and get lamar free.

Good news!

Wonder what the next move is going to be. Is there any rumblings on social media of the Browns making a move? Have to believe the next shoe to drop is a CB.

I would love Alexander.  No thanks to Clowny.  Waste of resources for him to just sit on IR.

If Joe Woods would commit to a man coverage defense, it would be beneficial, but I think he's a Seattle zone guy from what I've heard. Denzel and Greedy(at LSU at least) are best at man coverage, as are Gareon Conley and Kevin King, two cheap FA's. Conley and King are available on the cheap because their previous teams tried to square peg them into zone defenses and torched their value.

When the hell are teams going to stop drafting top flight man corners for primarily zone defenses?

Trust the coach do run the system that he knows best and can most effectively coach.  Dont ask him to do something that is way out of his comfort zone.

Lol how do you know this? What position do you think will be BPA? WR? TE? S?

Because I do not think any DEs, with the possible exception of Rousseau, who won't be there, will be BPA.

DL, WR and CB.

Does this mean that we can’t trade him?  I would not count on him staying yet.

If not, they just like him. He was one of the few players to actually show up vs KC. He could have a good year next years and net them a comp. pick

The only top tier talent that might be there at 26, meaning top 3 at their positions is going to be LB. that’s how it looks on paper, who knows. Might see like 5-6 QBs go top20

"Maybe not even then" headed towards $30 million means that you're living in an absolute fantasy land.

Nope.

The nerds might see it as a salary cap issue.

Otherwise, over 3 years I think he has only produced enough for something in the $30-$35mm range, imho.

Random thought, as much as Incant stand him ever since he tried to take Jake delhome’s head off much like I take the cap off of a bottle of Pepsi, suh would be a good 1 year rental.

We could but all 6M would be dead money on the cap. So it’s unlikely. If we were going to trade him we most likely would have before his contact because guaranteed.

I would love suh. But I think he’s close to a deal with Tampa.
