We may sign the guy from the colts to replace Goodson. That is about it. Moneyball devalued the LB position. Joe woods system also devalued the LB position. We aren’t going to invest heavily in LB. we have Wilson Phillips, Smith, and perhaps the colts guy. Billings is good depth that has set out a year. Who knows what we have there. Given that he was signed to a one year deal I would say he was not viewed as a long term answer. Billings is known as a top notch run defender, he's a significant upgrade over Ogunjobi. There has to be some sort of plan here to attack the DL via the rest of free agency and the draft early. We currently have only 2 starting caliber DL on the roster with Myles/Richardson.
