Chase Daniel has played in the NFL for 12 years. He's played for five different teams. He has 261 career passing attempts. He's only started five games.

He's made $38M.

He's the center of my Mt. Rushmore in this category.

a little more on Chase via twitter

"Chase Daniel's career is biblical ...an undrafted QB... ...who made $38M for 5 starts in 12 seasons... ...and won only two of them... ...who has averaged 6.5 YPA... ...with one less INT than TD... ...and has been sacked 26 times... ...and he's not done yet, having just signed another deal with Chargers"

If Ryan Griffin makes our final roster this season, he'll be the longest tenured QB in our history. He'll also have made over $5.5M during his career. Only with us and the Saints. BUT he'll be on year nine. And will have only thrown four career passes.

The hustle is real. And more than worthy of any Mt. Rushmore of backup QBs.

I'm sure @ravishingone agrees.

His 1999 season has got to be one of the most random seasons from an NFL player that I've seen, statistically anyway.  Just out of nowhere tossed 36 TDs and led the league in passing yards lol, and at 37 years old!

Even crazier is that he probably could have won MVP if the Panthers won a couple more games, but they didn't because they played in the same division as the Rams, who also had their own QB come out of nowhere with a random NFL season.

Yeah, that was the 6th most passing TDs in a season in NFL history at the time. But the thing about Beuerlein is that he was always at least decent. I can't help but wonder how his career would've gone if Al Davis had given him the money he wanted in 1990. Or at least traded him to a team where he could start.
