INbengalfan
If Brady goes down and the Pats go 2-8, does BB get fired? Green Bay has far more common sense and patience than that.
Soko
Nope. Not having a good enough backup QB is a mistake, but not a fire-able offense. Most teams don’t survive losing their starting QB for the season.

Forge
We reside in a league where we can't field 32 starting caliber quarterbacks, much less competent back ups. The league has seen luminaries such as Kevin Hogan, Case Keenum, CJ Beathard, Tom Savage, Brian Hoyer, Josh McCown and EJ Manuel start games. They've been grooming Hundley for years in a system that isn't necessarily the easiest to come in and just pick up. Hundley hadn't failed as of yet and had looked decent at times in the past, so there was no reason to assume that a scrap heap guy like Matt McGloin was going to come in and do better. They probably weren't going to find a better option anywhere else. I have a hard time laying the blame at the foot of those two, even though I'm not a huge McCarthy fan overall. I think McCarthy is a mediocre to bad coach and Thompson deserves some heat but firing either solely because the team gains without Rodgers would be stupid. paul-mac
No. A common misconception is that a coach gets fired for bad results. The real reason to fire a coach is if he's not the right guy to lead your team anymore.
GSUeagles14
only if you were seriously considering letting them go before the season. IMO mccatthy is much better as a OC where he can just focus on offense and not worry about managing a game.. TT has had more than his fair share of early round misses on defense, and they havent fielded a competent defense in how many years now? maybe a crappy end will give the higher ups the public support they felt they needed but if they were happy before they should be happy after. Jlowe22
Packers will win at least one win they play the Saints next week. No way the Saints win 4 straight.
Kip Smithers
Silly question. No. Love how people are so quick to fire guys that they very little knowledge of what their job entails and how they perform certain aspects of that job.

malak1
I hope not. I love watching the predictable John Kuhn FB dive and the occasional 3rd and short, go deep play call. lmao.

And then it turns out to be inconsequential as you guys lose the game to us, so I'm glad both sides can have something to love.
