Not sure why they're waiting.

For the same reason that causes all the other gripes we have.

He should have had competition back in May, and should have been replaced no later than the Preseason, and here we are in October and they’re still “we’ll look into it later”.

It’s so damn frustrating seeing this incompetence alongside the pieces that are so good they’ve risen above all of these issues.

I mean, that's what it is.  They should've had competition or actually just outright replaced Myers back in May.  But they went with Myers...and that "vote of confidence" is where it's a choice they effectively made back in the summer and now it's much too late.  They should've done something about it when there were options.  Now it's just a matter of trying out some different scrub that wasn't good enough for any other team either.  Other than doing something just for the sake of doing something, i'm highly skeptical they're going to actually fix or noticeably improve the situation at this stage of the season.

I just don't see reactionary busywork, making changes for the sake of making changes as the mark of a strong front office with clear vision either.  It's a lose-lose, because they made the wrong call back when there were actual alternatives.

there are still some good Alternatives out there tbh.

good thing is Myers is set to be an RFA so hopefully the bosses smarten up and dont tender him.
