Congrats!

Jerry called, he just named you the GM of the Dallas Cowboys and your first task --> Building the Big Board. The scouts have submitted the reports, now it is up to you to build it.

[You are free to build the board as you see fit: Evaluate character; deduce scheme fit; weight need; determine positional value; etc.]

Should we view this as a pure board, or who we would actually pick if all of the players were on the board?

if I were a GM, I would build both boards ahead of a draft. I think there is value in each that can help you make a decision when the rubber meets the road.

Either way, in this case, it’s Lawrence.

I think it is a good question - and one a lot here would not be nuanced enough to execute without injecting a significant amount of bias. We try running this yearly and each year we have divergent ways of approaching. I wonder if we should do a straight board and then a need board and see how they match up.

Personally, I am making a straight big-board. Knowing that the #8 player may be better for my team than the #3 player.

In any event, this one is a sweep. I think 2-5 will be a struggle to place.

I’m doing a straight board as well.
