For any FA who’s not a top 2-3 guy at the position and at his age in this offseason I think it’s going to be a case of taking the best offer he can find.

Good guy, and purely a cap move. Can still be an above average starter to probowler if healthy. Hate to see him go but have to wonder what our plan is with all this cap room and like 2 offensive linemen plus one corner under contract.

My ideal scenario: internally sign Hunter Henry, Michael Davis as CB2, sign Rayshawn Jenkins, and find a way to lower Mike William’s salary cap through a team friendly extension. Externally our big FA signings will be Corey Linsley at OC and Reiff at LT. After that get some bargains for mid tier defensive guys (like edge rusher) that fit Staley’s scheme.
