Jerry called, he just named you the GM of the Dallas Cowboys and your first task --> Building the Big Board. The scouts have submitted the reports, now it is up to you to build it.

[You are free to build the board as you see fit: Evaluate character; deduce scheme fit; weight need; determine positional value; etc.]

1st Round Big Board:

1. T. Lawrence, Clemson, QB

I expect a ton of deviation here, but I will go with Sewell. Almost went Pitts.

Positional value aside on this one, I got to go with Pitts.

I went with Sewell. He and Pitts are neck and neck, though.

@Rtnldave you really think Surtain is the second best player on your big board? That's some high praise.

Perhaps I misunderstood the post. I was 2 or 3 Dewars in. I thought you meant who did Dallas have as their number 1. It's like every mock draft I read, Surtain is the guy.

You think Dallas has Surtain as the #1 guy? Over every single other draft prospect? Not saying your wrong but I'll be stunned if that was the case.

Ohhh, I don't think so. It's just what I've been reading in Mock Drafts.

I have always had a hard time doing this. Positions matter for me. an A- QB talent is > than a A+ other position. a A+ OT > A+ CB etc.. 

But using the system that you guys want, If I think Z Wilson is an A- QB but Sewell is an A+ OT. But a QB's value is > than the other (Needs aside) who should I pick for 2??

Precisely why I went Zach Wilson. Quarterbacks are worth more regardless of anything else. The importance of the position pushes Wilson above Sewell for me.
