Rams would have to essentially lose 3 in a row here, and that would make Seattle need to lose to the Jags and Cowboys well, if the rams lose 3, seattle could win the divison which means they dont need to lose any. A 10 win Rams team would have at minimum 5 NFC losses to our 4. Someone has to win the NFCW, so if it isn't the Rams then the Hawks become irrelevant as division champs. I feel if we were to go 10-6 there is probably between a 70-80% chance we get in. Hopefully game 1 is in Minnesota and we destroy whatever fake hopes they have in a year where we didn't have our QB. Fair enough. Either way we need help from the saints and vikings. Even the bucs
Malfatron
we also win the tb with atlanta if there are multiple teams tied with 10-6 records (rendering h2h inapplicable)
deltarich87
That ATL schedule looks rough minus the Bucs. That's great for GB considering ATL owns the H2H tiebreaker on them. Really unfortunate that Seattle won tonight. Think they're in for sure. Think they only lose 1 more game the rest of the way, either @ Jags or vs the Rams Looking like their best hope is jumping the Panthers, with their upcoming H2H game perhaps being the deciding factor. MacReady
I'm pretty confident we can go undefeated the rest of the way and at least two of the wild card teams (Carolina, Atlanta, Seattle, Rams) will lose their required amount of games. We already have an (almost) guaranteed loss for two of them (Seahawks play Rams, Falcons play Panthers). I definitely see the Vikings wrapping up the division against the Panthers, and if we lose against the Panthers it's season over anyway, so we really don't have to worry about the Panthers. Saints, Saints and Panthers against the Falcons leaves me pretty confident the Falcons will lose two.
MacReady
True or false: Our path to the playoffs is easier now than this point last year considering the teams we need to beat and the teams that need to lose/how many they need to lose. Yeah and the Rams also have vs Philly, @ Seattle and @ Tennessee on their remaining schedule. Not likely but there is a chance they could lose all of those games. Like Malf said, they are currently the dog in all 3.
KFP7
This Browns game is going to be the most stressful game we've had in a while. Knowing our playoff hopes rest on us beating the 0-12 Browns... If we lose it is going to be painful.

So many variables involved in us making the playoffs... but yes, if we lose to the 0-12 Browns and that effectively eliminates us from the playoffs, I'll start a gofundme to put Hundley on the first civilian flight to the moon

This will be a big test for our defense. We'll need them to have an impact like they did yesterday. Cleveland's defense is great against the run and awful against the pass, and that matches up well with us right now lol

I'm going to say false. We had games against both teams we needed to beat to get ahead of (MN, DET) and we had a wild card possibility as well as the division. Our schedules about equal, one daunting task at home (Seattle last year, Minny this year), a team that I think is going to continue to fall (Minny-CAR), a road game that should be easy (CHI-CLE) and Detroit in Detroit week 17. I still think 3 times out of 4 that 10-6 gets us in, but the NFC as a whole is better this year.
