I’d have rather seen them bring in Lamp than bring back Dozier.

Sure. But that's more an indictment of Dozier than an endorsement of Lamp. Neither have been good.

I've wanted us to get a KR but now that I think about it, I think that job goes to Hughes. Osborn/Abdullah will handle the PR duties.

I think Hughes takes it regardless of what happens to Gladney.

Good for Wilson. I am a bit surprised that he didn’t have a bigger market.

Yeah good for him but yeah weak contract but that is what everyone is getting right now, one year deal because of all the uncertainty.  Good pickup for the Eagles a team with currently awful LBs, Wilson will start right away.

Lamp is on the Bills also, curious how much he signed for to go there.  Doubt it was as low as what Dozier got.

Dozier got the minimum so it is hard to get lower. The veteran minimum is lower for guys with less experience though so Lamp possibly singed for less Dozier. A lot of guys now are getting the minimum. If Lamp got anything more than that I doubt it is much more.

True, few are getting big contracts unless they are proven great players.  Why pay a guy a ton when the league made little to nothing last year.  Think of the income for one Vikings home game in terms of ticket sales, food, beverages, parking, and hotels.  Yeah no wonder why teams cannot pay everyone solid contracts and just go short with one or two year deals.

The Texans are going to become the new Browns...where players go to salvage another year out of a career that should be over...

I want to see the list of their signings before the draft starts

I was really hopeful a few years ago that he'd finally figure it out with Patterson coaching him. Oh well.
