Unfortunately, it didn't pan out for you @Boda

I'd have rather given the young players more downs.  Kerrigan's been over the cliff for the last 2 years.  I'd rather see Jones, or Robinson as the rushing specialists on 3rd Down, and Wonnum and Weatherly mostly on 1st & 2nd.  Kerrigan hasn't got a lot left and is lousy playing the run.

Is it wrong of me to want Larry Fitzgerald to finish his career as a Viking??

I do too.  He'd be great for moving the chains and as a 3rd or 4th option on end zone plays with his sure hands.  He'd be able to teach Jefferson and the other young receivers, like Cris Carter used to do.  With Jefferson, Thielen, Cook, and Irv Smith covered, he'd be a sure thing safety valve to get first downs, and make catches in the end zone, when the other 3 or 4 targets are being smothered by coverage.  And, I'm sure he wouldn't mind taking a lower salary to play for his old home town team.

Shame Shame!!

Didn't want to point it out, since he's international. Chris Carter is the creator of X-Files...Cris Carter is the wide receiver.  ;)

Yeah I just had to give him a hard time. I think Cris is a silly way to spell his name. 😁

i don't know if we're one of the teams but if there is any of whatever you'd call a bidding war at this point I don't think we'd be the one who will pay the most.

The Chiefs have a bigger need at WR than we do. I think he goes there or Tennessee if they have any interest.

The Chiefs don't have a bigger need at WR than the Vikings do...they're already 4 deep at WR with Hill, Hardman, Robinson and Pringle...and Pringle would probably be the 3rd WR on the Vikings' roster.

I'm not sure how anyone could be confident in those receivers outside Hill. Pringle has never even produced over 170 yards in a season. Hardman is a bit more dynamic. Still, he's their KR/PR. Do you really want him out there for those reps plus all the #2 reps at WR?

Pringle was one of their most clutch WRs down the stretch last year.  While he won't win any awards for production, I wouldn't be surprised to see him surpass Robinson for the #3 spot...and there's a reason why the Chiefs gave him a 2nd rd tender.  If I'm Westbrook, the Vikings actually would give him a better opportunity than the Chiefs would, since he'd be competing only with Beebe and Bisi, instead of competing with Pringle and Robinson.  That may just be me though.

KC did throw 115 more passes than the Vikings last year. If I were a free agent WR with those two landing spots available, assuming similar money, I would take the KC offer to be their #4 WR vs our #3.

That's a fair argument to make, especially considering the Chiefs run far more 3-WR sets than the Vikings do...but I just think it's going to be harder to crack that lineup, because the 4th WR in the Chiefs set would get about as many snaps as the 3rd WR would get in the Vikings' lineup and I just think it's easier to crack the Vikings' 3rd WR spot. It's a tough decision either way.
