Deadpulse
A little sad. I was big on Cannon when we drafted him, he was up and down throughout his career but I still like him a lot.
Crimmage
I was also a big fan, he fell to I think the 3rd round and he was on the team a decade. Ups and downs but still a hell of a pick. I really thought he was going to get cut so trading him for some value is awesome.

Worked out in the end, he always seemed like a great guy. Works out for everyone, he keeps his salary and the Pats jump up probably around 10 picks in 3 rounds
ChazStandard
Seems like not much compensation for potentially a well above-average starting tackle. Yes he struggles with injuries and has a large-ish cap hit, but still, moving up a few spots in the late rounds may as well be nothing. 1ForTheThumb
Moving up in multiple rounds and freeing up cap space-I love this move.

You have to take into acct he was going to be cut, unless he reduced his contract which I assum he didn't. Think of it like the Gronk trade. PatriotsWin!
Wish Cannon the best. Must say, we got some great value for a player we were all expecting to get cut anyway.

He struggled with health and consistency on the field his entire career, and now he is old. To get anything is a gift thanks to the Texans. Cleared 7 million of cap too.
