I think is was a 4th RD he was projected 2nd than he had cancer.

oh yeahh that's what it was. 

Worked out in the end, he always seemed like a great guy. Works out for everyone, he keeps his salary and the Pats jump up probably around 10 picks in 3 rounds

You have to take into acct he was going to be cut, unless he reduced his contract which I assum he didn't. Think of it like the Gronk trade.

The guy didn't play at all last year, opting to sit out. He struggled with health and consistency on the field his entire career, and now he is old. To get anything is a gift thanks to the Texans. Cleared 7 million of cap too.
