How many guys that we drafted last year did we have visits with besides Becton?

Morgan and Cager from what I've seen but last year visits got shut down due to Covid so I'm not sure what happened after that. Most of the confirmed visits for 2020 are all in person. This year they have more info about the virtual meetings.

Zavin Collins is a favorite of mine I hope he makes it out of the first round the guys all over the field. Jenkins looks to be a late 1st rounder, Patterson a 6th to UDFA type. The Jets are loaded at RB. I have advocated for a TE, so if the Jets don't address it in round 3 then I can see a 4-5th round pick up.

I am sure Bobby knew that but Jets didn't draft Cager but drafted Cameron Clark.😉

Shame on JD for overlooking James Robinson.

I like Cager. I also like Clarke. I just think thinking that they will Webber be quality starters for us is a stretch.

I need production rather than skill set to anoint a guy into someone I love. Almost every player at this stage has skill. It’s what they do with that skill to develop it and learn mentally along the way that separates guys. Brady is no more talented than any other QB. But he’s mentally on another level. And that works the same for ever position. Not just QB.

I'd put a lot of money on them taking Moore or Schwartz at some point.

Tremble is an interesting name Bc the TE group isn’t good right now. And the system likes using a TE. Unless Herndon does a 180... we need something else there. Knox is possibly even a downgrade from Griffin so that doesn’t help.

I forget which poster but they said Tremble can be the H-Back type we move around and I like it, definitely a guy I hope we can grab in the mid rounds(4/5)

Knox was brought in primarily for his blocking ability. I would not expect it much in the way of receiving from him.

If you go by WF, its not bad, seems they hit on 2-3 players every year. Howbeit some turn out to be UDFA. Most of those looked at are options in later rounds etc. But guys like Jenkins, Collins, and unheralded or players with a ton of upside going mid to late like Stills or Williams at CB/S are a good bet if they are available would be good to great value picks. I find that the picks that have the most value and turn out to be good players then you have to hit on 5th- 6th rounders.

I know others of have said this, but a FB team is comprised mostly of third round picks and later. You have to hit on some of them in order to be competitive. This is where the GM and scouting departments need to earn their pay. First and second round players are easy to spot. It is finding those day three picks and UDFA’s that will determine if your a champ or a chump. JD in one draft seems to have done OK so far in this regard. Huff, Hall, Davis, potentially Clarke are all players I think will have a decent career. Not stardom, but contributing players.

Yup to get production out of those mid round guys is what separates teams. R haven’t don’t that in a very long time. And that’s why we’ve been bad for a very long time.

Not really sure about this notion that a lot of people here seem to have (not just you, Big T) that we are "loaded at RB."

Tampa Bay (Fournette, Jones, Vaughn) is loaded at running back. Indianapolis (Taylor, Mack, Hynes) is loaded at running back. Houston (David Johnson, Ingram, Lindsay) is loaded at running back.

We have one solid backup/third-down specialist and three question marks and nothing else.
