Uncle Buck Posted March 15, 2021 Share Posted March 15, 2021 That's good to hear. Urban has talked about how he wants to build the team from the inside (lines) and moving out. If he had let a player of Norwell's caliber go, I would have been kind of worried. Instead, this shows that Urban knows a good one when he sees one. It's only a one year deal, but it probably won't be unusual to see those this off season with the decreased cap space. By doing the one year deal, they either get to at least keep a player, or at least give him some signing bonus to keep him happy, and then sign him to a longer contract after next year when the salary cap goes back up with the new TV money.
