Had to look it up, last time we saw a third in the compensatory formula was the year we let Jennings and Walden walk. Gained us a 3rd and a 5th. Greene was the epitome of a JAG. He wasn't particularly great at it, and you can't justify putting the tender on him. Doesn't sound like a JAG to me. He was considered an important part of the defence in the past couple of years.
