PP, I think both could be slowed down but Sherman has had some injury.  PP also gives back up insurance as a reliable returner.

They also ask Peterson to match up with #1 wideouts every week and he's not capable of dominating against them these days.  In GB he'd draw #2 wideouts and I think he'd win those matchups more often than not.

As long as he's not covering Janis, I'll take those odds.

I see it like this:

Woodson joined the Packers aged 30 and went on to be DPOTY. He is literally proof we should not be afraid of older talented corners.

Patrick Peterson is another formidable talent who will be 31 when the season starts. We really need a talented and experienced corner alongside Alexander and Peterson is an obvious target. He also has ample experience playing in 3-4 defences.

I just feel we can get him on a really nice deal.

If it was a friendly, nice deal I'm sure he would just stay in Arizona. They currently got about $14m free in cap space, enough room to work a deal. He must be chasing some serious loot and Arizona is waiting to see what the market is really for him.  It would knock my socks off if he comes to the Packers!

Janis is like Chuck Norris.  He just chose who to dominate and who not to.   He generally made it a point during the first few weeks of training camp/preseason games and then just grew bored once the regular season started.   Boredom from realizing that nobody could cover him ultimately led him to leave the game and no other reason

That and his well known obsession for the tire business

Tom Waits once told Dave Letterman that’s the tire business is a hard one to get out of. If you tell people you’re ready to retire they just think you’re going back for more work.

I’d imagine it’s also hard to quit the sign business.
