Since Smith blocks better than any of then not named Kittle and is athletic as any of them not named Waller. Henry is as good a receiver or better than Andrews/Hock/Godert. Goedert blocks better than Smith, and Fant/Engram are both more athletic than him.

I disagree with you on the blocking completely and would put those two others you just brought up all in the same category athletically however Smith is better at blocking than either plus he is generally less injury prone. Nah, Goedert is the best blocking TE in the league, Kittle second

The best blocking TE is still below average compared to an extra OL, and doesn't really move the needle in the run game. If your team runs well, they were going to run well regardless of who is playing TE. Edited March 16, 2021 by Jeezla
kramxel
Patriots grabbed a good one! He's a great player and a great pro. Always felt he should have had some bigger roles through his career, his play is better than his #s. Best of luck to him!

I look at the WR unit as a whole , not the individuals NA and Golladay do the same thing for the unit that's all i care about. production is secondary. NA as part of his WR job is to just to clear out the underneath stuff. it's the threat that is valuable to the offensive scheme. Now if there's no cap I'm going after Golladay but that not the case. I look at WR as ornaments your need the trees or there useless. Here an example. That's if your old enough to (2001/2) remember.😁 David Pattern = NA, Dion Branch = Jason Borne and Meyers = David Givens they all make up the WR Unit. You make a a great point they do need a QB and I'm pretty sure they are going after one in this draft. They pretty much can trade all their draft choices after all the signings. Only need is a future (SD)CB. lol Patten, Branch, and Givens were nobodies that Brady turned into good players in the same way that Peyton made Brandon Stokely & Eric Decker into 1000+ WRs (Branch being the best of the bunch) i just feel like Golladay is the type of WR you need if you are going to operate with Cam as a QB1, he was always better when he had 1 big physical WR and a good TE because lets face it , at this stage Cam isnt going to make his WR that much better than they already are, which to me Makes Agholor (NA) kind of a JAG in that system guess we'll see how that turns out but thats just my opinion

SkippyX
Golladay is better than Agholor but lets live in reality. Kenny's got 21 TDs in 4 years. Agholor had 23 in that time. Golladay has 3068 yards in 4 years. Agholor has 2763 in that time. Agholor had a bad 2019 including 2 horrible drops. That is real. He was also a very good WR last year and a good player on a SB Champ in 2017. If Golladay gets credit for missing 11 games in 2020 then give Agholor credit for missing 5 in 2019.
