It was just a point that SF, as an organization, has not drafted RB high in the draft in quite some time. As for beefy, I was not referring to the RB but the OL. I am fine with your statement on OL so I left it alone. RB situation is unpredictable as always. Didn't realize that I left out short and fast RBs. 49ers stacked up RB by signing short and fast RBs. That didn't work out favorably for 49ers but Raheem Mostert who didn't fit the Shanahan's type of RB and 49ers ended up being in SB with him not those short and fast RBs. When looking at 49ers' ineffective RB plan, does LaFleur have an idea how to fix that or he simply continues the same method with a hope for better durability? That is something we don't know for real. Jets already have 3 well sized RBs on the roster. Etienne is kind of tall and big Shanahan RBs. Pass on him for Shanahan's prototypical RB in Michael Carter (UNC)? I don't know but I do envision Etienne as next generation RB in Shanahan system. For the brothers' comparison, Matt had Packers drafted AJ Dillion in 2nd round. Is that because of Derrick Henry? Who knows. Dillion didn’t really fit the mould of what I first thought of when thinking of a back LaFleur would want. He’s built like a full back. Maybe the fans of Harris have a chance. Also after watching Last Chance U I’m interested where Rakeem Boyd gets drafted.

doumeyer
If the Bears were wiling to give up three first round picks & Mack to get 32 year old Russell Wilson, I wonder what they would give up to get the second overall pick in the draft???

You have to assume they would value Russ more than Zack/Fields With that in mind, I'd wager the offer would be lower. Would you consider Mack and 2 firsts worth it to drop that far? I'm not sure I would. Though, If we could flip Mack for an additional 2 firsts, then maybe. That would be 4 firsts. For a team as talent starved as us, we could get a lot of chances at some high end talent.

Who is discussing trading for a QB? The idea was that Chicago was attempting to trade a haul for Russell Wilson, failing to get him the question is how much would Chicago trade to get pick #2 from us. Not sure where your question is coming from.

jetfuel34
I think we keep Sam. Corey Davis said he came here thing that Sam would be the QB and really likes Sam as the QB. You see Parriman you moron this is what you say no matter what. I'm so glad he will not be on this team.

Jag68Sid87
It's perfectly fine if Corey Davis likes Sam Darnold. Just as long as he also likes the backup quarterback, that nameless and faceless person who will take over when Darnold flounders for the umpteenth time at some point this year. JamisonByke
I cant believe this fan base has yet to realize how bad Darnold is. Not only is the guy mentally challenged but he can't even hit his guys that are wide open with a clean pocket. The only plays he mades are off script with nothing on the line. This fan base is trash! canadianjetsfan
Curious that I don’t see many comments about trading down and yet still taking a QB. Is the drop off that big from Wilson to the next QB’s? I’d love to read some breakdowns on how all the potential first round QB’s would fit into the assumed new Jets offense. Best case is we trade down, still get a QB that would work, and fill more roster holes.
