We were finalists on william jackson, it seemsike JD wants a tier 1 CB. I'd guess he's pushing for fuller now that he's available and also has an offer in to K'wuan Williams, who hasn't decided yet.

Tweet literally says he’s playing Safety not Nickel/Slot. 

Williams I think returns to SF and Neal goes to Dallas.

I wanted a safety. Just not this type of safety. First signing I’m genuinely confused about.

He's likely to be a safety for us or at least spend most of his time there. I like this balanced approach on both sides of the ball.

If the reports are true he will play safety that’s only a good thing. From hearing Raider fans assessments then he can’t play the slot but we really needed a vet safety. Hope Davis kicks on but at least we have some assurances now.

So, Rappoport was suggesting that we are going to use Joyner in the "Jimmie Ward role", which I find interesting because I always figured that Marcus Maye would play that role. I don't see Maye playing the "Jaquiski Tartt role" for us, and I also don't see Ashtyn Davis playing that role, so do we need to sign another safety too??? 

Does this mean we are going to trade Maye? 

I do like Joyner as a safety but I am rather confused now.

I do like Joyner as a safety but I am rather confused now.

I read somewhere that Maye and Joyner can play more of a deep S role and Davis more of in the box cover the TE role.
