He could be a true big play specialist, and he has what this team needs, a person who can take a short pass and make a long run or even a house call. I've been an Eskridge fan for awhile, but his great Senior Bowl week might put him out of range in round

I have not been impressed with his arm from what I have seen thus far, HOWEVER, I will say that he throws with touch more than he does rip his fastball.

You're right on all that. We can disagree about the rest, but about four or five of his best "arm strength" passes (that I've seen so far) are included in this highlight reel. There are some others that caught my attention, too.

I think we can't see upper limits of his arm strength in those clips as max pass attempted is about 48 yards which isn't that impressive for higher levels. I mean I can throw a football 48 yards and wasn't even good enough to be a HS QB. However, he does show nice touch, a 30+ yard rope, an off platform throw and good athleticism. It doesn't seem 30+ throws are ones he needs to put his max effort of his body and legs into, which is an indicator of arm strength. I would say initial impressions based off a highlight reel is this guy is a pretty good prospect. I mean Mahomes and Allen can throw 70 yards at will. They are examples of elite arm strength. But elite arm strength is not necessary to be a great QB. Manning and Brees never had elite arm strength.

I haven't seen him really air it out in any of the stuff I've watched so far, and the 48 yard pass you mention is a touch pass. I haven't seen his pro day yet, apparently he threw in the rain and was still really impressive. But one of the best throws in that highlight reel is when he's rolling out, kind of off-balance, and still delivers a 20 yard rope with the flick of his wrist. I don't think he has Mahommes or Allen arm strength, but it is quite good.
G08 1,318
I think at this point I like Mond's upside to Mills'. Wish there was more "tape" but I digress.

You can't judge them from tape alone. You need to be able to interview them at length and work with them in an actual practice. Even then you can screw it up. Best indicator is 3-4 years of good play and good coaching.
topwop1 1,352
After watching some film on Mills I have to say the guy has some sneaky good athleticism. Very intriguing prospect. Although it'd be nice to have a high pick and better chance at landing a top QB, this QB class is pretty loaded with talent. I don't remember a year quite like this in a while..maybe the Baker Mayfield draft class comes close?

It's close, but it doesn't match this class. I have a feeling it's going to become a cliche--Pace may save his job by pure, dumb luck. Perhaps I just think that with the Dalton signing it indicates that Pace/Nagy may both be ok with sitting back and getting a QB either at pick 20 or in the 2nd round I'm thinking they should try and trade down with a team in the late 1st and then snag a QB there to get that coveted 5th year option. Then go hard after OL/CB/WR in rounds 2 & 3
