I would like this draft a lot. As I said before, it would probably be my biggest preference in retrospect to go Horn at 12 and then like Cox, Browning or Surratt at 70 (they were all available then)

Giving up 3 picks to go get Bateman was a little rich, I would have liked to add more players but getting him and keeping both 3rds was pretty clutch.

The biggest bummer is not adding to the O-line or the Safety room, but as I said from the beginning, when you suck this bad and have this many needs you can't hit them all

Yeah I agree on that swap. But interesting to see what could be there if they did do LB at #12.

Did Blankenship or Morrissey go? I’ll have to check.  Because they’d be priority free agents for sure.

Kelvin Joseph at 70 is a pick I would feel REALLY good about. He needs work but he has the tools and length to be a legit CB1 in a year or two. The only pick in hindsight that I don't love is Parsons at 12.... would have rather gone Horn or traded back.

I would project Bateman to start, Ward and Newsome would have a competition for sure. I think there is a reasonable chance that Newsome wins out or eventually takes the snaps as the year moves forward.

I like the talent of this group but having a former college QB and PS player as your most experienced WR is pretty ridiculous. I have a feeling they will try to add a vet and only draft 1 WR. I would have traded for Anthony Miller if I didn't use so much ammo to go get Bateman.

I put a slash for a reason, I think they'd both get significant playing time, even both be on the field at times.

WRs....

X: Fulgham/Bateman
Y: Ward, Newsome
Z: Reagor, Watkins/Hightower

Hardest thing IMO is deciding between Watkins and Hightower.

Watkins. I'm actually a little excited to see what this new staff can do with his speed/yac ability, and just to see his progression in general. John Higtower made Agholor look soft handed, but he was the better route runner. I think Quez had him in every other area though (hands in general/catch in traffic/yac/athleticism), but he might be a slow learner.

I agree and would like to see Quez get more snaps especially in the slot. I would want to have Bateman, Reagor, and Fulgham out there in 3 WR sets.  I think in this scenario, Hightower is the odd man out. Bateman, Reagor, Fulgham, Ward, Watkins and Newsome would be the six. Hightower is like 25 already and cant catch.

He'd be our CB2 in this case which would be at least a little worrisome but you can only do so much in a draft. I agree with you and@EaglesPeteC that going Horn at 12 would have been the better option. Having Horn at CB2 and add one of the later LBs like Cox, Browning, McGrone, Surrat, etc. in the mid rounds. Overall, it's a very good draft.
