Sleepers? Favorite Hidden Gems

Feels like there's a ton of depth at OT and WR this draft class, and people are going to be finding high quality starters over 10 deep into the position.

As for my picks, I'm not sure I'd call him much of a sleeper as he had a ton of hype on him after the senior bowl (even some saying potential late 1st rounder), but D'Wayne Eskridge-WR is the real deal, imo.... and he could legitimately drop to the 3rd or even 4th just depending on where people shake out the rest of their board.

I'm higher on Snowden-ILB than basically any draft boards I've seen.... but much of that is the Parcells "planet theory".....  Kid is 6ft7in and isn't a lumbering oaf.. He'll probably need to be protected a bit by a stronger DL but the coverage possibilities intrigue me as a Bears fan who's going to be looking to replace Danny Trevethan soon (and DT for much of the last 2 years has been a giant liability in coverage)

Jaret Patterson-RB is another guy I think getting pretty criminally overlooked..... but Running backs getting devalued to the 4th-5th round isn't that uncommon I suppose.

I think Eskridge goes long before that. And I'm a huge fan of both him and Patterson too.

My list would be (off the top of my head):

Jaylon Moore OL Western Michigan - Has potential four-position versatility. Very smooth and balanced in his movements. Good power. Enough length and foot speed to play OT. Also has the flexibility and power to play OG. Has some technical flaws to clean up (namely, his tendency to lean).

Darius Stills DT West Virginia - Undersized and undisciplined, but you can't teach his explosiveness, natural leverage, and ability to penetrate. Has the potential to be a very disruptive 1-gap DL.

Rhamondre Stevenson HB Oklahoma - I don't know if he qualifies because he likely goes around the 4th round, but he reminds me of Le'Veon Bell. He's a true three-down HB. Big guy but elusive and patient.

Shakur Brown CB Michigan State - Think he'll be a stellar slot CB in a scheme that lets him play a physical brand of M2M coverage. Undersized and doesn't have great speed, but his quickness, route recognition, physicality, and stellar ball skills make him a real PITA for WRs.

Blake Proehl WR East Carolina - Skinny WR who profiles as more of a slot guy, but he's quick, polished, and sure-handed. He can also return punts. I don't think he'll be a star, but he'll be a late round guy or UDFA who sticks.

Cornell Powell WR Clemson - He's a bit of a forgotten man. He's a jack of all trades, master of none type WR. Isn't special at one thing, but he does everything well. I think he can develop into a solid starting WR.

Matt Bushman TE Brigham Young - He tore his Achilles before the season, so he's a deep sleeper right now. Needs to get better as a blocker. But he has a big frame, strong hands, can create separation with his physicality, and prior to his injury, had the athletic ability to separate.

I didn't include some others who are talked about often (Tamorrion Terry, Ar'Darius Washington, etc.).

Jermar Jefferson and Jarrett Patterson at RB are two of my favorites.

Elsewhere, Charles Snowden and Simi Fehoko intrigue me.

Brady White, I'm a huge fan of. Memphis QBs haven't amounted to much despite being super productive though. He's not a star and unlikely to be a franchise guy, but I think he has top tier QB2 chops and would be getting a bit more love of not for being an older prospect.

I've got some love for Osirus Mitchell (WR, Miss St) too. I can't help but think 2020 was supposed to be his breakout season, and it got totally derailed by Covid, bad QB play, poor scheme fit, and the seemingly endless exodus of players on their offense. Not the fastest guy, but looks every bit of his listed 6'4 210 and could be a sneaky RZ threat.

Lastly, my Tulane bias pick- Patrick Johnson. I think he's gonna make a fine pass rush specialist in the NFL. Probably not a star, but a solid piece for sub packages and the type of player that holds his own well enough to start and a team not feel pressured to upgrade from. Like some others from smaller programs, I don't think the Covid situation did anything to help him improve his stock. I know he was regarded fairly well last year before announcing his return to school and his stock seems to have kind of disappeared. Had 10 sacks in 2018 and my guess is he would've topped that in 2020 with a full slate.
