AlexPresser
This is my first mock, I am really curious of people reactions, please don’t comment “bad pick” instead give suggestions of better options at the pick. There definitely gonna be some controversial picks here. I am also projecting a deshaun Watson to San Fransisco trade prior to the draft. Jags Trevor Lawerence Pretty obvious choice here. It’s all but official. Jets Kyle Pitts This is the first big surprise. And I know I’ll get some hate for it, but I think Darnold been stuck in a bad position with a bad coaching staff. I feel like Saleh will be open to see what he has in darnold, whose still only 23. Now most people would say QB or trade down but I think Pitts will end up being the best player in the draft, and in play at 3,4 or 5. If jets want him they have to make this move Panthers Zach Wilson First trade, Once jets pass on Wilson Miami phone is going to blow up. I think Panthers give the biggest offer, they’ve been aggressive in the web market. Clearly not comfortable with Bridgewater so they move up and grab Wilson Denver Fields Denver gets aggressive an offers Atlanta a deal to move up. Drew lock is not the answer, and they have a roster ready to win. I think they move up and get their guy, who will be ready to start day 1. They can later move Lock to recoup a mid round pick. Bengals Sewell Bengals Stand pats and land a franchise LT. Protects Burrows blindside. Eagles Chase Eagles may take a hard look at Lance here but I think they are better off seeing what they have in hurts. Their receiving Corp has been very inconsistent for years now, drafting a stud like Chase will turn that around. Lions Waddle Lions are not going to be good this year, I don’t think they need to draft for need, Might as well go BPA however in this case it fits a desperate need. Dolphins Micah Parsons Dolphins go best player available as well and grab Parsons. They do need to get Tua more weapons but fuller helps and this is a deep wide receiver class, plenty of opportunities. This pick give them a major anchor on their defense Falcons Phillips Falcons have the offense to contend, I think it’s too early to look to replace Ryan. Getting Denver’s first round next year will give them the assets to get a qb in the future. A lot of pass rushers to choose from here but I think they land on Phillips who will finally give them the pass rush they’ve been missing for years Cowboy Surtain Simple case of best player available fitting a need. I think Farley would have been the pick here but the back surgery news scares them off. Surtain is a good pickup Pats Trey Lance Another Trade, Pats trade up to get ahead of Houston. Trading up for aWB doesn’t sound very patriot like but neither does overpaying guys like Jalen Mills and Nelson Aguilar. I think Bill is desperate to rebuild this team, and doesn’t want to settle with Cam. If cam does work out they can always trade Lance like they bd I’d Jimmy g Texans Devonte smith When Texans made this trade they were hoping to land a QB. However I don’t think they reach for Jones here. They know they won’t be competitive next couple years they need stars everywhere so they take best player available which her is he is man winner Devonte Smith Chargers Rashawn Slater Chargers need to put Herbert in a position to win, and fixing that Oline should be a priority Lindly helps but Slater still being on the board is a dream scenario for LA Vikings Kwity Paye This pick was one of the hardest to make, I was back and forth between Paye and Darrishaw. But I think Paye is the better player and can take the role they wanted Ngakoue to be. Giants- Darrishaw This is the make or break year for Jones, we need to see what he can do with a healthy Barkley. In order to see his full potential you need to protect him Cardinals Najee Harris Is this too high for a RB? Hell yes. I think Arizona tries to trade down but I don’t think there is a must have player that anyone is gonna trade up for. Like Jones this is a make or break year for Murray, year 3 for Murray and Kingbury. They need to show they can have the explosive offense they are expected to. And they are not gonna do that without an too RB Raiders- Vera tucker Unless Gruden decides you don’t need an offensive line, I don’t see anyway they don’t take a lineman and They will be thrilled if Vera Tucker is still on the board Dolphins Bateman After going defense with their first pick, They add to their receiving Corp, Bateman Fuller and Parker is a strong group, and should bring the best out of Tua Redskins Jenkins Mac Jones? I think they pass. With their defense they can compete with an average offense, and Fitzpatrick can deliver with a good supporting cast. He got the offensive weapon now just improve the Oline and we may see Washington repeat as division winners Bears Jaycee Horn Another team that could be a fit for Jones but they pass. Their defense is their strength and they need to keep it that way. They are desperate for qb help but I don’t see Pace and Nagy betting their jobs on Mac Jones, which is why they invested in a veteran dalton. Colts Mayfield Colts land a new LT. Still a lot of good pass rushers they may be tempted but best to shore up the O Line Titans Ojulari Tennesse has needs at Corner and WE. Again I think Farley is too risky to be a first round pick with his back. There will be opportunities to land a receiver in round 2 and 3. I also think this is a good landing spot for Zach Ertz. So here they boost up their pass rush. Jets Gregory Rousseau Jets made the Suprise pick taking Pitts. Now they have a chance to still get a qb in Jones, but again I think they see what they can do with darnold. Here they take a high upside Edge. To help rebuild that defense Steelers Ettienne Roethlisberger is back in probably his last season, I personally think he is done but Steelers have to try an give him one last chance. And they won’t help him by throwing 50 times again. They go ahead and add an explosive RB. To take the load off Ben. Jags Zaven Collins Jags are quickly adding a lot of talent, rebuilding this team. A lot of people are mocking receiver here but I think they have a lot of potential in Chalk and Shenault (sp?) here they take someone who can really become a leader on that defense. Browns Christian Barrimore Browns did a great job adding young vets to fill out their defense. They still need a 2nd pass rusher on the edge but here they go Interior. Get some youth behind Malik Jackson and Sheldon Richardson who I think are both on one year deals Ravens - Terrance Marshall Ravens Recievers have not been able to get the job done. They need to improve the wide receiver room if they want to be a balanced team and a legit contender. Saints Owusu Koramoah Saints are in cap hell. Restructuring has helped somewhat but they’ll pay for it later. They need talent on cheap rookie deals, here is simply best player available. They can still add some weapons later in the draft. Bills Ossai Bills are in great position with a well balanced team. I think they take best player available and add to their pass rush with a great value pick. Chiefs Cosmi Toney would do a lot for the chiefs offense as a number 2 reciever but first chiefs need to fix their Oline. Not having their tackles cost them a Super Bowl. And now they are both gone. Thuney helps but they need a tackle. Bucs Mac Jones Almost everyone thinks he will be gone by now but I see him falling. Yet he falls in the perfect spot. Gets to spend a year learning from Brady. Bucs want to repeat but this also set them up for a bright future. what do you guys think? also I am new to this site, but if anyone wants to get a group together and do a collaborative draft I’d be down. scar988
I think you need to put first names and positions on each pick. It helps the readability Also, I don't think Jaelen Phillips is a top 15 player by any way, shape or form. Atlanta would be better served going OL there with Slater or AVT. onejayhawk
The Chiefs re-signed their WR3, Demarcus Robinson. They want new blood, but it's not a high pick priority. An OT the draft nees to be able to play LT. They have an OT, Lucas Niang, coming off COVID opt-out and re-signed Mike Remmers. Both have been primarily RT, though Niang has the mobility to play LT. Walker Little in round #3 would be ideal. More likely they lean edge rusher for the first pick. There are currently only two to three rotation-quality DE on roster. Taco Charlton is an exceptional situational rusher, but borderline in the rotation. J

BB doesn't care what others think when it comes to value. He picks players to do specific (just do your) jobs. NA go deep that was a major need for the Pats WR unit. Hind sight, everyone thought JuJu would get a major contract 15+, guess what no takers he settled for 10M 1 yr so he can hit the market post covid! Quote Bill is desperate to rebuild this team That's one thing that's not in his DNA. I don't see BB trading up for Lance who IMO is the most over rated player in the draft. A complete project. Also by doing this move disproves your point of desperate. Why would he take a QB that has to sit on the bench at least for a year. BB will not trade for Lance, he will take a player or trade down. His target (trade down) Kellon Mond. who's experience is light years ahead of Lance The player he will take is JC Horn. A big need with Gilmore having one foot out the door and JC Jackson will soon follow, who now has a 2nd RD tender which tells teams he up for sale at the right price! I didn’t necessarily said the signing were bad. Just uncharacteristic. I see your point but I don’t think Lance is as much of a project as people think. I think but his off-season shows that if bill likes a player he’s gonna go get him. And saying bill is desperate isn’t the same as saying he is all in in this next year. But he knows he isn’t winning championships with cam. He need to get the next guy in there. We shall see what happens.

They have Frank Clark, Mike Danna (2nd year, 5th round pick), Taco Charlton (situational pass rusher), open air. Also, consider that they drafted Lucas Niang in 2020. He opted out, but is fully healthy and working with a professional position trainer. He's probably ready to step in and play at RT, but may want to bid for the LT slot. They also have rights to Prince Tega Wanogho, which is a cosideration for later rounds. The team would like to re-sign Tanoh Kpassagnon, but that has not happened yet. That at least fills a lot of snaps with a DE who can set the edge. I am thinking a pass rusher at #31, best available OT at #63, but be willing to grab a slider like AVT or Zaven Collins. Then can find an older player, for veteran minimum, to get through a season while they train someone up. At CB, they acquired rights to Deandre Baker very late in the season. He was not in game shape, though they did let him start the final game. With a full off season to prepare, consider him one of the top three CB. So they have him, Ward who is a multi-year starter, and rising star Sneed. The team may take a CB on general principles, but not before Day #3. FalconFan13
I agree with Scar on this one i think the Falcons reached way to far on Phillips who i might be ok with taking with our pick in the 2nd round. Wouldn't touch him inside the top 25 though. Patrick Surtain is EASILY the choice there for the Falcons he is a top 10 player and still a big need for our secondary to pair next to Terrell. Slater wouldn't be a bad choice either at all although i much prefer Surtain of the 2. I honestly wouldn't have a problem with doing anoher small trade down if someone wants a player at our pick and then taking those extra picks + a player like Najee Harris or Ettiene or a great choice at Safety in Moehrig. Safety is probably our biggest need in the entire draft we don't have any starters there at either FS or SS we got rid of all of them this offseason XD
OnlyGlove
Raiders will go O-line and Vera-Tucker is a maybe. But only if they go tackle again later in the draft with a developmental player like Spencer Brown. Main reason being Vera-Tucker most likely ends up at gaurd and raiders this season are fine at that position. It's replacing Incognito next year. Jenkins is probably a better fit as he's already a RT, fits the aggressive idea they want from the O-line and has the ability to play run zone. Jalen Mayfield has played only one year and that was at RT so could be a fit for the raiders too, fits the atheltisum Tom Cable wants. O-line isn't as bad as people may think, Trent Brown hardly played and only real loss was Hudson but replacement in James is already here. Secondary is a massive weakness though. Not a single Free safety on the roster and Gus Bradley will play cover 3 most snaps so its a massive need. Massive question marks at Corner with only Mullen locking a spot down. Arnette will play but will ot be outside or will he move inside. No depth behind them with 4th round picks Isaiah Johnson and Amik Robinson projects that shouldn't be trusted. So they could go Free safety or Corner and look for a tackle in the second. But it will most likely be a Right tackle. I'm hoping for Jenkins or Darrisaw
