Jaguars re-sign Josh Jones

One of the things that Urban mentioned in one of his pressers is that he hates the “wait until he gets his guys in there” mantra, and the attitude that you need to clean house and rebuild solely with your new talent. Instead, you respect the talent that was there before you, evaluate it fairly, and give those past players an opportunity to become part of the new culture.

I’m glad it wasn’t just an empty platitude. So many of these re-signings would have been the perfect type of player to move on with no one fussing over it. They’re not star players by any measure, but solid players and depth doesn’t need to be expensed solely to make sure that the team has *your guys*.

Although I do agree, I think there's some room for moving on from some of these guys.

Jones was pretty ehh last year when he was out there. Was a clear jump in play when Daniel Thomas got put into the starting lineup imo.
