Honestly, this. I can imagine our team being a superbowl contender (in the next few years) with any of the top 6 QBs in this draft (I'm even including Mond... the guy is so smooth at quarterbacking). At this point, I don't want to go crazy trying to predict what's going to happen. Do I have a preference? Of course. Do I think it's all doom and gloom if we don't pick my ideal guy? Not at all. The QB on a rookie contract will give us a chance to field a great team for the next five years. After that, we'll have to make choices (or we trade the QB for another top 5 pick and repeat the cycle!), but that's for another time. I'm at the very least okay with the 5 QBs we're talking about in the first, even McCorkle. You have to believe the staff sees something special in him if they pick him. I'm good with Fields and Lance. I'd be super excited if the Jets did something wild and gave us Wilson.

We talked about it in the other thread. Same old same old. Not a real thing so far as I'm aware. Remember when Zach Wilson was a spoiled rich kid and a brat? Orlovsky peddling it, but it's the same every year. It sounds like a narrative...if it's not, why not talk about Mac's drunk driving? So one guy has crappy work ethic and that's something we want to talk about but not the drinking and driving? Nah. This was purposeful for clicks.

Same ish different yr. Always the same QB get the lazy/not a leader why others get the hard worker grinder type. These guys have a job to do but throwing bull around with no real inside info is just sorry. Especially since most of these guys have been on the other side.
