As DL pointed out in other words the staff just seems to love Leno despite his shortcomings as of late. And don't get me wrong, he's a great locker room guy by all accounts but his play has been spiraling downwards these last 2 years and it's really been dragging the offense down with it. Besides, Jenkins is coming from playing great at RT and you don't really wanna disrupt that just yet. Let him get use to the speed of the game first before moving him. Not all positions are equal. Remember, Long was not comfortable moving for the same reasons. He was used to being a RG....he was great at it... and he wanted it to stay that way. Plus, again. Even if he is a RT, that's still great for us. The days of LT (blindside) being the most important position on OL is long gone. the game has changed. You need to protect BOTH sides equally. Going back to Leno. I'd love to try to package and trade him. While Leno's play has dipped, I do think his age, experience and reliability would still garner some attention. There are legit pro and cons to either. Both are are real prospects, though. I'm surprised the Vikings went there, though. They have a lot of other needs.
