So: we have an offer on the table to move up.

Detroit Lions receive: #85 and #234

Philadelphia Eagles receive: #102 and #113

The TVC value is almost exact. Is there a player worth moving up for; one that won't be available 20ish picks from now?

I dont think we should move up. But not 100% opposed

Willing to trade DT Derrick Nnadi for RT Tyrell Cosby. Post in the trade thread and I'll accept.

I'm down for this trade. Putting Nnadi next to Brockers and having Williams/Penisini off the bench provides better depth.

As for the draft, seeing guys come off the board is disheartening. my top 2 guys are numbers 33 and 42. They are above everyone else at this point for me.

Looking things over, I feel like we might need to consider #27 more seriously if he's available.

We're still pretty thin at the position and there is a lot of upside.

Updated worksheet with PFF scores.

Gentlemen,

We have an offer on the table from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Detroit Lions receive: DT Derrick Nnadi

Kansas City Chiefs receive: OT Tyrell Crosby

Are you interested in the deal?

So far:

Yes: 1 (Louis Friend)

That puts the Yes votes at 4, with zero No votes. I'll go ahead and post the trade.

I think this is a good decision for both teams.

Yeah - with Sewell as our 1st rd pick I don't see a huge need for Crosby.

2018: Started 7 games; missed 6 to an ankle injury

2019: Started all of the games, won Morris and Outland Trophy, co-winner of Polynesian College Football Player of the year (w/Tua)

2020: Sat out due to COVID

The only concern I would have is just game shape/rust. However, I don't really see that being an issue and it makes someone like Crosby more expendable.

Most definitely.

And it seems that Nnadi is a decent young player (24) with upside, and we have a lack of legitimate talent at DT.

Nnandi seems like he would put Nick Williams in a DPR type role, which I think makes more sense. A combination of Brockers/Nnandi should help in shutting down the run. It still wouldn't solve our lack of pass-rush up the middle but we aren't going to resolve every issue with this team in one off-season.
