Yes, indeed. ALS does its work quickly--my grandmother was gone in a little less than 3 years after the diagnosis. It is sad to see anyone go through it. No cure at all and not much in the way of treatment. I cannot recall any with my family's experience.

This game was a travesty. The OL was tragically bad at giving CJ time to throw. Pitiful. The DL seemed to make some plays only to have the Secondary give it all away.

Can anyone explain this? Sure at certain games we have been down early, but with a team that struggles to pass, why not run it more with Hyde/Breida? How about starting the game with a legitimate run attack and then look to open it up with the play action? And can Shanny please stop calling all those pitch plays to the backs? Our OL aren't athletic enough to get out on the perimeter and the play never goes anywhere. Besides, that's not Hyde's game so if he REALLY wants to implement that in his offense, then save it for Breida. He's had some suspect play calling at times to say the least.

Given our team and quarterback situation, this is entirely too much. We should be going the Jacksonville route, to be honest. Save 65% pass play percentage for when we actually have a quarterback. Jax runs the football less than 47% of their plays.

Shanny seems unable (unwilling) to commit to running.  No matter how well the running game is going he always wants to  mix in a certain number of passes.  I think that is a mistake and a possible flaw in his coaching.  Great coaches will throw 50 times in a game or run 50 times in a game depending on the opponent, the score, the game plan, and the vulnerabilities of the defense.  Not only does Shanny seem unwilling to run far more than throw, I honestly can't remember him running more that 2 ort 3 runs in a row all year without feeling the need to mix in a pass.  I'm not fond of tha approach.

Shanny is a bit stubborn no question. For example, look at all of Hyde's best runs this season and then compare it to the play calling up until the 2nd quarter of last game. Hyde is a inside zone runner, not a outside zone runner and definitely not one you should be running HB pitches too. So why does Shanny continue to call those types of runs? Does he not see our interior OL is an absolute joke and guys like Brown aren't suited for that type of running game? He needs to start adjusting more and face the fact that unless our backs combine for 25+ rushes a game, we won't have any chance of winning. He will occasionally switch up the pace of the game which is nice to see, but needs to now start switching up his play calling.

Off topic, but did anyone hear the broadcast when he challenged the Dez catch but was a bit late due to not seeing the play since he was sitting with Beathard? Both him and McVay often times when the defense is on the field go to the bench to talk to the QBs. Luckily for Shanny, Robinson was banged up on that play so he had enough time to throw the flag. But in the future we may lose out on some opportunities to challenge because of this.
