Kinda hard to win games without a guy who can do at least one of those things.

dtait93
I know many will say the play they’ll remember the most from him was the SB catch against Atlanta where the ball was basically on the ground... but for me it was his catch and run against Seattle in the SB after taking a direct hit from Chancellor. That dude was just dropping people left and right all year and Edelman took his best shot and didn’t go down. Guy was tough as nails.

And there a lot of people who think Eli should get in. If you're going that route, then the argument for Edelman is arguably as strong as that for Eli. I don't think either should get in. But he shouldn't be. His stats aren't even Hines Ward good. Hines, Wayne, and others who are significantly better than Edleman aren't in the Hall. Edleman has no business in that discussion at all whatsoever
Apparition
People who say he belongs in the Hall of Fame are trippin'. People who say there shouldn't even be a conversation about it are trippin' just as much, though.

Soko
Guys, come on. Jules is an all-time Patriot great. Has some great postseason stats. He doesn’t, shouldn’t, and never will sniff the HOF.
