Let's get back to the football side of the discussion.

On second thought, the last few pages pretty much tell me we're beyond saving here.

We'll see how the league chooses to respond, then we'll reopen this thread.

Might want to open back up the thread in new sub with the video evidence but it looks like AD going to be just fine. The guy should be thanking him.

Discuss.

Well that deescalated quickly. Just one more reminder in a whole slew of them that we need to withhold our judgements until we know the facts. Even now, who knows if something else will come about before it’s all over?

AD's version of events is that the dude tried to start a fight in the party, got tossed, and then tried to hit him (AD) in the head with a bottle outside when they left the party. AD's boys beat him down. And AD broke up the fight before they did serious damage. The video seems to prove the latter point.

I see the second part in the video, so I'm going to assume that Donald is telling the truth.

Non-event, IMO. AD might get a stern talking to, but he shouldn't be suspended.

Unless there is evidence they beat him down at AD's instruction AD "should" be fine.

I shouldn't say this, but... Dude at the 0:11 mark is a big *****.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a distraction from the first ballot HoF awareness by Aaron Donald to wink wink nod nod at his security to beat the crap out of that guy and then have the presence of mind to be like "hey no stop rearranging his face" on camera so that there's no way he can get charged. How many years have we been saying millionaires should never be dumb enough to get booked for assault now?

I can't even hate on it.

Yeah there are definitely some people who pushed it way too far as usually happens in these situations. But I think this clears AD and the notion that he's just a violent guy that can't control himself some pushed just doesn't mesh with what those of us that have followed him see from the guy. Everybody gets some personal fouls on the field and guys like AD and double teams and hit as much as he gets it will get bent once in a while. On a side note the guy who pulled him off was his brother and unconfirmed reports are the Rams are checking with AD to see if his bro can play anything on the OLine.

So this whole thing is basically just a bs story.... not unexpected. The only thing I see AD needing to take from this is he really should hang around a better crowd of dudes.... I am 99.9% sure AD doesn't need protection from anyone who isn't holding a gun to him.
