paul-mac
Might do one more of these next week if we get more information on what the Broncos will likely do, but it has to be said that I think there are two possible outcomes for this draft Paton falls in love with one of the QBs and we either trade up or take him at 9 We go BPA at 9 or trade down, and we trade a mid round pick for Gardner Minshew My Mock 1. Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson 2. Jets: Zach Wilson, QB, BYU 3. 49ers (f/HOU via MIA): Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State 4. Falcons: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida 5. Bengals: Ja'Marr Chase, WR, LSU ***Dolphins trade pick #6 to Denver for picks #9, #71 and #191*** 6. Broncos: Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State Paton gets his QB after a mini slide. Miami miss out on their top 2 targets so they decide to move back a few slots and still land Devonta Smith. If Paton has fallen in love with Lance, then a 3rd and 6th won't stop him making the deal. 40. Jayson Oweh, EDGE, Penn State Von and Chubb both in contract years. Chubb will likely be back, but Miller won't. Oweh has all world upside and could do with a year of learning from the best. 114. Hamsah Nasirildeen, SS, Florida State Kareem Jackson on a one year deal, so Nasirildeen could be our future box safety 152. Dan Moore, OT, Texas A&M Ja'Wuan James likely gone next year, so Moore can have a year with Munchak and then battle with Anderson for the starting job. 237. Nick Eubanks, TE, Michigan Blocking TE depth with Vannett gone. 239. Paddy Fisher, ILB, Northwestern ILB depth, with both our starters in contract years and Strnad unproven 253. Trey Ragas, RB, Lousiana-Lafayette Practice squad fodder Final 53 QB: Drew Lock, Trey Lance RB: Melvin Gordon, Mike Boone, Royce Freeman, Le'Vante Bellamy WR: Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler, Dae'Sean Hamilton, Diontae Spencer TE: Noah Fant, Albert Okwuegbunam, Andrew Beck, Nick Eubanks LT: Garett Bolles, Calvin Anderson LG: Dalton Risner, Netane Muti Center: Lloyd Cushenberry, Austin Schlottmann RG: Graham Glasgow RT: Ja'Wuan James, Dan Moore DE: Shelby Harris, McTelvin Agim NT: Mike Purcell, DeShawn Williams DE: Dre'Mont Jones, Shamar Stephen OLB: Von Miller, Malik Reed ILB: AJ Johnson, Justin Strnad ILB: Josey Jewell, Paddy Fisher OLB: Bradley Chubb, Jayson Oweh, Derrick Tuszka CB: Kyle Fuller, Ronald Darby, Bryce Callahan, Michael Ojemudia, Nate Hairston, Essang Bassey FS: Justin Simmons, Trey Marshall SS: Kareem Jackson, Hamsah Nasirildeen K: Brandon McManus P: Sam Martin LS: Jacob Bobenmoyer
BroncoBruin
Definitely like getting the QB at a minimal cost. One thing that stands out to me looking at your depth chart is the QB scenario probably means Denver looks to fill a few holes depth-wise through veteran signings after the draft. In a non-QB scenario, you can really fill out the depth chart through the draft, especially if you trade down.
