FinneasGage
Jonathan Isaac sprained his ankle like 2 months ago. Came back played a couple games and now he's back out indefinitely w/ that ankle issue. In case anybody was wondering what he's been doing. Wes Iwundu has been getting a little burn for ORL. He's a usable player. With TRoss out, he's ORL's best wing defender. He'll stick around the league for a while I'd think.

We had a top 10 pick in a deep draft and wasted it on the most inefficient player in the NBA. He'll get better. It can be rough on point guards, especially if they are on a bad team. tonyto36
Tatum's 3 point shooting has slumped a bit lately - he's "only" shooting 47% from 3 now. But watching him, you can't help but think he's going to be a super star. He's been extremely impressive in... -Spot up shooting -3 point shooting -mid range jump shot of the dribble -3 point shot off pump fake dribble/step back -Handle -Defense -Rebounding -Finishing around the rim -Off hand dribbling/finishing -Offensive game variety -Basketball IQ -Transition scoring Pretty much everything you could hope for, except passing where he has been average. If he just continues his track, he's going to be a super star.

If he just continues his track, he's going to be a super star. His biggest problem this year is missing some very makeable layups. When he gets stronger over time, he will be so hard to stop and I believe will be getting to the Ft line often "experts" said he was the most polished offensive player in the draft, and he has did more than live up to that. Granted a lot of his scoring came in the second half when the game was already a bit out of hand. Despite that, I certainly think he's earned himself some playing time. With Roberson out, if he can keep up this level of play, especially defensively then Roberson might find himself in a bench role when he returns. Rooting for the kid. Lot of time left and Tatum is trending upward. Simmons is trending downward. BTW Tatum with 6 blocks and 3 steals tonight that mans plays serious defense all while still being clutch in the 4th and leading the NBA in shooting. Simmons wasnt spectacular in December but has turned up his level of play since the new year. Simmons is better in every aspect of the game except 3 point shooting a free throw percentage. Have to disagree with this. Tatum is far more than just a shooter. His scoring/fundamentals are farther along, not just his shooting. Plus Tatum is also a better and more versatile defender overall. But one thing that no one seems to mention is that Simmons shies up in the 4th quarter, mainly due to fearing having to go to the FT line, while Tatum actually excels in crunch time. For me I will take Tatum, and it's not even close.
champ11
Tatum is in a rare situation. We don't get to see rookies as good as him on teams as good as Boston. He's so good though.
