EagleBlueDon
Redundant with Darnay Holmes. Don't get that pick for the Giants.

EAGLES3658
Howie botching the draft after round 1. Yikes.Β
TheRealMcCoy
I really don't understand how we don't think corner is an issue. Are we gonna pick up Steven Nelson or Casey Heyward??

TheRealMcCoy
Quote Β SUMMARY: A two-year starter at Louisiana Tech, Williams was a defensive tackle/end in defensive coordinator David Blackwellβs 3-4 base, primarily lining up over the B-gap. He emerged as one of the best defensive linemen in Conference-USA the last two seasons (19.0 tackles for loss) and is an ascending player who has yet to play his best football. Williams is a slippery rusher with explosive lateral quickness and physical hands to make plays up-and-down the line of scrimmage. He has terrific body flexibility, but his pad level will get the best of him at times and he needs to improve his finishing skills. Overall, Williams is still filling out his frame and learning how to maintain his leverage, but he boasts a dynamic mix of explosiveness and effort. He projects as a scheme-versatile three-technique or base end. GRADE: 2nd-3rd Round (No. 70 overall) Β Β
TheRealMcCoy
Yep we gotta be signing someone still out there. No way they think we are okay at corner.
AZ_Eaglesfan
Another Howie pick, but not one I hate. BG can teach him how to play and hopefully become a solid player.

Decent chance it's who Dallas would've looked at
EagleBlueDon
Yeah I'd bet anything we're gonna sign or trade for somebody at corner. Lord knows we have enough draft capital to trade for anyone who might be available. There's just no possible way that look at corner and feel good about it. Caplan probably going crazy right now lol. AZ_Eaglesfan
This is just reality for the Eagles. We value the trenches very highly and we put 0 draft value into Safety/LB. I am sure we have DB's coming around the corner in later rounds
