um...yes? His point is obvious and everyone agrees with it?

Why is it obvious ? And why would it change the fact that if you're the QB you want every asset to go into helping you win a Super Bowl ?

I think at bare minimum he needs to be a Cousins/Mayfield level QB, it will take an elite D to win with a QB at that caliber. You'd like to set the bar at Matt Ryan, but that might be too high.

If you get an elite D, you can potentially lower the floor to old Peyton Manning. Of course, the D needs to be more elite the worse the QB is. Assuming Mahomes is the opponent in most hypothetical matchups (and his OL isn't down a billion starters) I'd say above average for offense overall if your target.

Schefter admitting Rodgers didn't want this out and he said he randomly decided to leak this on draft day. You jilted lovers sure look stupid now, calling for Rodgers head saying he did it on purpose . I can't wait to go back and read all these dumb comments from the majority of you.

And the fact that you're going from that hook, line, and sinker tells me enough.  Let's go through this logically.  IF Schefter had been gathering all this during the offseason process, why did he choose to "break" the news a few hours before the draft?  The timing of it doesn't make sense unless you're trying to accelerate the trade.  The 49ers were picking 3, and as soon as they made their likely QB choice (which turned out to be Trey Lance) they were likely out on Aaron Rodgers.  Aaron Rodgers (or someone in his camp) leaked it.  Rodgers can say he didn't want it to come out, but that's clearly them trying to save face.

Moving to Love in 2021 doesn't seem like a win-now move or a build for the future move.  It's sticking Love right in the middle of a transition from win-now to the future.

From a team-building perspective, this team is SO all-in on 2021 that' it's kind of crazy.  Without Rodgers, that plan is kind of crazy.

Moving on from: Adams, Bakh, Rodgers, Marcedes

would make a lot of sense.

  Look at Bakhtiari's contract:

You said Rodgers didn't play well enough. I guess I can hold out hope that someday he can play as well as Brady did last year. Or Nick Foles. Or broken down Payton Manning. Or Joe Flacco

Of course Aaron wants every available non-aaron asset to support his personal ambitions.

That's what got is into this mess ha

And it's obvious because Aaron playing at the level he was on his contract handicapped the team enough that it wasn't close to a SB. It's obvious he wasn't playing well enough because that's what reality is.

Kuhn, Hawk and Jones definitely out here doing damage control.

Both sides being played. The villainess stuff coming out in the media, the damage control from ex teammates.

The constant hedging makes me believe Rodgers preference is to be elsewhere, but he'll play here before retiring.

Keyboard problems. Typing a full response is....troublesome. Requires spell-check.
