Louis Friend
I HATE starting a thread for anything not directly Lions related, especially during the draft, but I feel we must discuss this. Quote Breaking: Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is so disgruntled with the Packers that he has told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team, league and team sources told @AdamSchefter on Thursday. @Sportscenter Quote Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is so disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers that he has told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team, league and team sources told ESPN on Thursday. More on NFL Live now.... @AdamSchefter Quote Sources: The Packers reportedly told Aaron Rodgers they were going to trade him in the off season, then backed off. It’s been a bleep show between them ever since. And within the last week Rodgers told the team.. trade or no trade I’m not coming back. Buckle up folks @TreyWingo Quote From unimpeachable source: As of last night, Aaron Rodgers’ wish list was 49ers, Broncos, Raiders (not necessarily in that order). He wanted Packers to take the 49ers’ offer. Next move by Rodgers is TBD. @ProFootballTalk Obviously, nothing is guaranteed and there are conflicting reports. NFL network guys claiming it's just a contract issue that needs to be worked out. ESPN guys claiming this is alot bigger and Rodgers wants OUT of Green Bay. 1. Do you see the Green Bay Packers actually trading Rodgers? 2. Where does Rodgers end up IF traded? 3. Does Stafford go on suicide watch if Rodgers is traded to the Niners?

Yes, if Rodgers forces their hand. 2. Anywhere he wants. 3. LOL........no, they’re both competitors. edit......San Francisco, New England, Minnesota 🤠J/K about the Vikings. Really it’s about where he wants to play. Edited April 29, 2021 by diehardlionfan Sp
diehardlionfan
Just a thought. Could talks have been ongoing behind the scenes and the Niners move to three is part of the package? Perhaps a stumbling block was Green Bays draft position and interest in one of the QB’s

Yes, I think he forces their hand. 2. SF - #3 overall pick, Shanahan, etc. SF trades #3 overall (2200 points) GB trades #29 overall (640 points) + Aaron Rodgers (1560 point diff or value of #6/7) I don't know if SF really would wind up paying that price, since I have to imagine they could get more for #3. Especially if Rodgers is essentially forcing their hand and pushing himself out. Still, they've already reached out with #3 on the table so I have to imagine it's a price they're willing to go with. 3. Maybe... I mean.. Wilson and Murray are already in the mix but Rodgers would definitely cap it off. He just might regret hanging out with McVay and having Kelly talk him into moving to the beach. detfan782004
I find it kinda hilarious and hypocritical. He was drafted the same was his successor was. Good teams can do that.
Lionized
Imagine Rogers kicking and screaming his way out, because he was never surrounded by weapons. He gets traded to the 49ers for pick 3 and Aiyuk. The Packers select Kyle Pitts.

If Rodgers didn't like a lack of 1st rd offensvie weapons in Green Bay, I'm not sure the Niners are going to give him what he wants.

Louis Friend
Denver trade picking up steam. NFCN QBS Lions- Goff Bears- Dalton Vikings- Cousins Packers- Love Ouch!! Wouldn't mind facing Jordan Love twice a year instead of Aaron Rodgers. No way the league gives him phantom calls like Rodgers, right?
