mdonnelly21
Packers with Brady or Bucs with Rodgers who wins? This is an interesting debate to me because Rodgers had been an MVP candidate all season long. And regular season wise every bit better than Brady. However, Brady had him in the playoffs, this comes down to IMO how much the Brady affect versus how much the Defense of the Bucs was dominate. broncos_fan _from _uk
In one game? Rodgers? Over the course of the season? Brady. I’ve come to realize that it’s not the on the field stuff that makes Brady great (don’t get me wrong, he’s no doubt elite) but his leadership is what makes his teams great. The way he pushes everyone else to be better. All the great ones have it but Brady is the best leader in NFL history (and this os coming from a Broncos fan)

Brady knows how to make everyone around him play their best. Rodgers is a great player himself, but he doesn't have Brady's leadership skills.
RamblinMan99
This is dumb. Rodgers is legit the only good player for Green Bay right now. If he were to go to Tampa, he’d have everything Brady has to work with. If Brady went to Green Bay, he’d have to retire at halftime, lol. Right..I guess having the best LT, top OL, top WR, and Aaron Jones is really tough..
lancerman
The teams that Rodgers folds to in the NFCCG are the teams Brady beats in the SB.

Which is funny considering Rodgers outplayed Brady in the NFCCG yet still wound up on the losing side.

Yes, Brady has no experience of carrying a sub-par offensive supporting cast to success. That has never happened.

Rodgers has a great wr, great LT, they have some decent defenders and aaron jones is an excellent back.

Brady would be just fine with the best LT, best WR and one of the best backs. Still think Tampa would win though. But if Brady can go 12-4 with the 06 Patriots, he could easily win a SB with the Packers.

There is no conceivable way Brady could make it to the Super Bowl with the current team at Green Bay. Aaron Jones is good not great. And what happens if your best wideout gets double covered? They don’t have the resources at all. The 2020 Tampa Bay team was basically a repeat of the 2002 team. They had a superstar arsenal on both sides of the football and that’s why Brady could win a Super Bowl with that team. Juxtapose that with Green Bay. They have nothing. Shady Slim
don't disagree that brady with the packers wins 12 games but i reckon rodgers with the bucs probably wins 14+ so i'll give it to him by a nose

Brady is no different player than at any point in the last 16-17 years. 2004 and beyond. He went to the AFCCG with Reche Caldwell as his best receiver. And truthfully choked against Manning and should have gone to the SB. As I said, I don't think Brady and GB would be better than Rodgers and TB but Brady won with way worse rosters. Green Bay doesn't have a bad roster. They are just top heavy on talent. Besides that, Tampa has a good roster but we barely heard of that before Brady arrived there, all we heard was they had talent. Now they are suddenly supposed to be an all time great roster who had 1 Pro Bowler. Doesn't add up.

Packers roster sans Rodgers is still one of the top in the NFL. Best CB, WR, LT in the NFL. Top 8 OG, RB, EDGE and maybe TE. Had the best center in the NFL last year. He's had plenty of help over his career.
