Keep telling people Mark hired Jon for nostalgic reasons. It’s like watching his hero and reliving it. Mark is a nice dude, but he has the mentality of a big child. This isn't what you want going into year 4 with Gruden tho.
SilverNBlackFan
6 first round picks in 3 years and no franchise cornerstones to show for it. Absolutely pathetic.

I'm assuming you're not counting Miller since Mayock wasn't on the staff for that one, but yea. It's brutal.

Should go 3-1 against them. Maybe even 4-0, but that’s hard to do.

Mayock was a media guy, and has been a horrible GM so far who literally has no clue what he is doing. I’m not even sure how that can be defended at this point, but I admire fans dedication. I don't think you can say that he has "literally no clue what he is doing". His first draft had one reach. His second draft had 2 reaches. Can we wait on the sky is falling fire everyone stuff until the draft is over? This year Edwards and Ruggs could easily have strong years. Abrams may have a second year like Kolton Miller. Moreau should be back to health. Now that Arnette is losing the cast maybe his tackling percentage improves. If half of those things happen we could have a pretty good year. Or none of those things happen and he gets fired. But one pick into the draft and he is a clueless idiot? I am a dedicated fan. A patient one. Who thinks a GM should get 3 years to get his guys before he is judged. Also he was an NFL safety (short lived) not a college QB.
SilverNBlackFan
The Giants got the bears 1st and 4th next year for the Bears to move to #11 to get Fields. We got the Cardinals 3rd and 5th, iirc, for them to come up to #10 and get Rosen. 🤣 The draft has been a freaking **** show since Gruden has got here. With Reggie, it was awful, too. We literally have the most out of the loop, illogical FO there is when it comes to draft logic and value.

And “sneaking” into the playoffs while facing the NFC East won’t exactly be success.

Winning the AFCW is probably the hardest division to win, because KC is the best team in the NFL. Its not the hardest division for KC to win (IE, Raiders, Chargers, Den would be a mid teir division) but for us den or chargers (KC, Chargers, Den) - winning is very unlikely, KC will win. So we are battling for wildcard basically now Edited April 30, 2021 by BackinBlack

Players can improve, it’s a crazy concept. A normal year should go a long way in aiding in that process. Cheers brotha, thanks for the upbeat post.
