The Atlanta Falcons drafted nine players over the weekend and here's a look at what numbers the rookie draft class will be wearing in their first season:

Third-round pick, OL Jalen Mayfield – No. 77

Third-round pick, CB Darren Hall – No. 34

Fourth-round pick, C Drew Dalman – No. 67

Fifth-round pick, DT Ta'Quon Graham – No. 95

Fifth-round pick, DE Adetokunbo Ogundeji – No. 92

Nothing really crazy here for numbers in Atlanta. Some interesting choices, though and the last guy who wore it.

8 for Pitts is unique. Seems like they're reserving single digits for QBs, K/P and great expectations players.

27 for Grant is college #. Kazee wore it last

77 for Mayfield. worn by Hageman and Clabo

34 for Hall, normally worn by scrubs in Atlanta

67 for Dalman, normally worn by fat boys in Atlanta.

95 for Graham, worn by Jack Crawford and Johnathan Babineaux.

92 for Ogundeji, worn normally by rotational ends.

35 for Williams, worn by RBs normally.

88 for Darby, no one wore it outside of Tony G.

I know, jerks.

I think the 'Numbers in Username' criticism works much better outside of a football forum 😅.

At least in here they'll tend to hold some significance by representing a player for their team. Which is much different than some 56 Y/O Sunglass Hut manager or something going by 'Stu85027' on twitter.
