SteelKing728
According to this, we have to get one home game. Which one will it be? https://twitter.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1278433164503982084?s=19 Edited July 2, 2020 by SteelKing728

vike daddy
regarding Washington changing its team name... Red Tails has support for a few reasons. The Tuskegee Airmen, African-American pilots who fought in World War II, referred to themselves as the Red Tails, and the team has indicated it would like to honor the military with its next name. The red-tailed hawk, a bird sometimes seen in Washington, D.C., could serve as the team’s mascot. The name would also allow the team to keep and only slightly alter its fight song, with fans singing “Hail to the Red Tails.” Dan Snyder has all but confirmed that his team is going to change its name, so the only question is what the team’s next name will be. Red Tails seems like a popular choice. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/07/04/dwayne-haskins-likes-red-tails-if-washington-changes-team-name/

Purplexing
I'm undecided between Washington Red Tails or Washington Redheads. Anyone have a coin I can flip?
swede700
I've been in favor of Washington Redtails for quite some time. As far as Mahomes, I saw the structure of the contract and I liked how they did it. It may cause some problems especially after 2026, but we'll have to see what the cap looks like then...Mahomes great-grandchildren will never have to work a day in their lives with that contract. When looking at these contracts anything outside the first three years usually doesn't mean much. That said, Mahommes' contract is a bit different. It is unlikely the team will care about their possible outs after the first three years. If the OTC numbers are correct, the cap hits look reasonable through 2027, It seems likely by '27 there is a plan for a simple renegotiation to convert some of that roster bonus to prorated signing bonus. In the end, I think this contract will look like a steal for the Chiefs. Locking up his rights for that long is a great move for them.
